    Common sense?

    Many teams, for example as I said in the ORIGINAL POST, like the Jets, have punters who simply cannot kick field goals.

            yeah.... thats a good question. The only person I would think would be any good at even ATTEMPTING a KO would be the punter. I wouldn't want him to attempt a PaT, though

              Right. The Jets passed up a 40 yard FG without their kicker today, and then after scoring a TD went for 2 instead of kicking an XP.
