    CanDB's comments:

Not a bad list to choose from. No olinemen..but wait til Clady's done!!!! And no dline either (wish I could give you a present day player to fill that void). A couple of folks providing feedback to the poll weren't getting Ed McCaffrey's choice, but I beg to differ. He will always be Broncos heart and soul in my little world!!!

    My choices are:
    1) Did I mention Ed McCaffrey??!!!
    2) TD
    3) Randy Gradishar
    4) Elway

It needs to be top five. I agree with your four but Jason Elam has to be there.

He is going to the Hall of Fame...no doubt about it. :salute!:

                Elway, Atwater, Gradishar, Smith

I would have preferred Floyd Little over Rod Smith though

                  Agree 100%.

                  Elway
                  TD
                  Smith
                  Sharpe
Honorable mention- Jason Elam. I believe he is the leading scorer all-time for points scored by a Broncos player. Tough to ignore that.

My 4 would look like this:

                      1. John Elway
                      2. Rod Smith
                      3. Steve Atwater
                      4. Terrell Davis

I had a hard time deciding between Davis and Sharpe, the tiebreaker was the fact that we wouldn't have 2 Super Bowl rings if it wasn't for TD! :salute!:

I can't believe that Rich "Tombstone" Jackson did not receive enough votes to make this list. Al Davis (complete with his I hate Broncos attitude) even said that Jackson was the best D-lineman he had ever seen. Gradishar who average right at 200 tackles per season only has a couple votes on this, a Broncos, forum?? Is there no sense of history? Oh well moving on.

Of these choices I would have to pick: John Elway, Randy Gradishar, T.D. (though injury cut his career short), and Shannon Sharpe. It is difficult to leave Rod out hr was amazing on several different levels.

                          Elway
                          Rod Smith
                          Atwater
                          T. Davis

However, I think Champ should have made it to the final list. Even though he has only been with the Broncos for 4.5 years, he is the best ever at his position and a great team guy and I would vote for him if he were available.

I will assume you are kidding. Correct?

IMO, kickers don't get the credit they deserve...and Elam deserves tons of credit for his achievements that during his career, allowed the Broncos to win many games that they wouldn't have won without Elams immense skill and consistency. Not to mention that he shares the record for the longest field goal in NFL history, 63 yds, with Tom Dempsey, New Orleans Saints, 1970. :salute!:
