  • Hillis Injury

Is there any new information regarding the extent of Hillis injury? Am I hoping against hope that he will be able to return for the playoffs? (Assuming of course that we get there)

Which is a shame too.He was promising. Here's hoping that another RB does not go down.

he tore his hamstring, probably be 4-6 weeks before he can even begin to start stretching it. I heard surgery may be needed. Good news is he'll be back to 100% by training camp.

Also, as far as "football" injuries go that place you on IR this one is probably one of the better ones to have, he experiences some pain with walking, but that will go away in a week or 2.

it's just really sad that he had to go down at the height of his year. Unlike all the other backs on IR, Hillis is looking like he has some real staying power. I hope this injury doesn't set him back too much. Much like life in general, football is very unforgiving.

Yeah, he is one of the good ones, thats for sure. One of the best pure football players we've had, and the first one since Champ came over.

            Torn hammys suck.

He suffered a 2-3" hamstring tear! Shanny says that they should know in the next 24 hours if surgery is going to be needed.

This is a big loss to our team!

              Get well soon Peyton! :salute!:

The details of the extent on the injury are even more disturbing, the consequence of which could be very serious for Peyton. It is too bad, the team really needs guys like this, now even more than ever with the playoffs coming up soon... sigh... This plague of injuries this season is just too much...

When you say this, do you mean a career ending injury? or just the season

Any kind of injury that requires surgery has the potential to end careers, but I was just speaking of the season... even though he showed he belonged, maybe he does not come back the same after the injury is healed.. lets all hope he comes back just as good or better....

                        Interesting thought...

Here's hoping they start a pilot program for the Broncos RBs:

                        Might help with fumbling too

The way he came down on that leg completely bent over should not surprise anyone that he got hurt.

The good news is he should be ready to go for training camp.
