-We would be winning 4 out of the 8 divisions in the NFL with the record we have.
-The Chargers won the same weak division the year ago with nearly identical afcw rival records at this time of the season
-Only 3 of our wins have come from the division. We are actually winning our division despite having only a 3-2 division record.
    Good thread Shsonline

People didn't say that about the Seachickens because they weren't a bad team like the Broncos. And the Broncos haven't done anything to make people believe they aren't a bad team. Not to mention that the "experts" aren't going to easily let go of their predictions that the Dolts were going to win the division, which is still entirely possible because the Broncos' next three games are very losable.

Try as they might, they will be viewed as winning the division by default, if they do win the division, because the Dolts were supposed to win it because they were supposed to be the better team. As far as the "experts" are concerned, the only reason the Broncos are winning the division is because the Dolts are having a down year. It's hard to argue with that given how badly the Broncos have played this season. Even though the Broncos are 8-5, no one would have thought the Dolts would be 5-8 at this point. Most people probably would have guessed that the Dolts would be a 2 or 3 loss team at this point in the season.

This board was talking 2 games ahead with 2 games left in the season back in 06. Nothing is final till we have a "* "next to the team name which equals Broncos 2008 AFC West Champs.

I just dont need any disappointment like many of us had back in 2006

(yes I do think the Broncos will beat the Bills at home if they cant get bye Carolina, but stranger things have happend)

With Cutler starting, did you think we were going to glide into the playoffs?

Even though we were 1 win/tie away from the playoffs, it didnt happen.
