Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

What a beast. He can will this team to the Super Bowl this year
Do you see anybody Denver could nab in the draft/FA or is already on this team that could become an emotional leader like Dawkins?
He won't leave Baltimore but Ray Lewis could start a car engine without a key (or remote or whatever those hybrids have)....
You are right about Dawkins...he brings it every play. Every team can gain by having an emotional leader or one who leads by their aggressive but "partially" controlled style. Some of the very best are the ones you can't stand on the opposing team, but would die to have on your side.
With respect to an emotional and physical leader, I see Rey Maualuga as that type of player. He is another Al Wilson. I love Dawkins, would love to have him, or to have had him a few years ago. Sadly, he will be gone from the league shortly.

If any of could we probably wouldnt be sitting here talking to you about it. That being said, he is a very special player, those dont come around often. Ed Reed, Troy Polamalu, Adrian Wilson, Brian Dawkins...these guys dont just happen to come around alot. Thats why they never reach FA, if I had to take a guess, I'd say Taylor Mays would be the obvious choice, but the next one of those guys will probably come from some school no ones ever heard of in the 5th or 6th round.

Yeah we really need a real BEAST on D!! cause it seems every player we have on D will put a big hit on the other team and then help them up and pat the on the butt! I hate that!
We have a beast on D.. He's called woodyard. There's no way he doesn't start next year, especially in a 3-4 if we go that way. I don't know what shanny and slowik were thinking when they benched him, but with him in the game our defense stepped up. With him out they stepped down. There is a direct correlation to him being on the field and not.
Just remember I think I heard an anouncer saying LB Harrison from the steelers was undrafted? He reminds me a LOT of woodyard.
