I can't comment on his career entirely. I don't regularly read his work.

However, with this situation, his bias has been obvious from the beginning, and he admitted as much in an interview.

Cutler isn't the only person to blame in this, and ultimately, he will be the better for the trade than Denver because he's going to a great situation in Chicago while Denver has to go through the quarterback shuffle indefinitely.

The whole thing got blown out of proportion
McD was not talking to the media, and has not talked much to the media, that gave the perception he has something to hide
He told Cutler and the rest of the eorld that Cutler was our QB. Cutler was still butt-hurt by all of this, and demanded to be traded, and he got traded...
yeah there's no proof that there were talks for his old qb that already knew his system and kc moved in before McD could get his way no that didnt happen?

it will happen because McD isnt smart enough... if he was willing to get rid of a Good talent in jay after being touted by McD apologist as a Great QB and Offensive Genius which doesnt make sense because if he was a good coach in those aspect it would have never gone as far as it did.
McDaniles Career as a failure of a Head Coach is being fulfilled. Termination of McFailure has happen.

Rejoice Bronco Fans we have taken our team back, but at a heavy cost.

After losing 3 Super Bowls after 4 attempts yes... that following year was VERY difficult to watch let alone root for.

I always thought... Here we go again after that, and quite honestly, I'm glad it took a long time to get back there.

That was rough. It was heart wrenching and at that time, I didn't WANT to see us in another bowl.

Think about the Buffalo fans back then that lost 4 in a ROW!!

They must have thought, PLEASE... not another Super Bowl right now. But to get yet another crack at it had to be in the fan's eyes as were ours.

That's all water under the bridge.

            • This year by far. I really liked Mike S. offense over they years...but thought I'd get by knowing we still had Cutler. Now with him gone I just don't have the excitement I normally do heading towards the draft.

I rarely get a chance to watch a game in person but was going to try and make it this year before all the changes happened. I'm not wasting my money this year as I have a feeling we're in for a miserable season. I can wait to be wrong!

                • I hope you did break your head coming up with that witticism. I've been a Denver fan for about 16 years. Thanks and come again.

For everything that McDaniels has done wrong, the whole population of Denver should escort him out.

That is the point. Chicago has a culture of defense. And that is where they will always focus their efforts. Their D will get them to the SB, not their O. So I sincerly doubt that Cutler will ever have all the talent surrounding him on the offense.

Of course, he won't have to be as good. Putting up a 30 with the Bears probably would win many more game than a 30 with the Broncos.

Cutler might win as many games, but he is not going to get the gaudy personal numbers. And if Rivers can be left off the Pro-bowl because he likes to chatter, then unless he has sterling numbers, Cutler's conduct in all of this will probably mean far fewer trips to the pro-bowl in the future.

The difference now is that Chicago has a legitimately talented quarterback in which they can build the offense around, rather than journeymen and stop-gap players they have had forever.

                          • Just because you have been a fan for 16 years does not mean you are not a bandwagoner. You are will to leave the Broncos as trivial as a new QB, in my book that makes you a Bandwaggoner, maybe even worse.

they have no good picks in the next two year to get anything around him.

we do. besides...i think a lot of players may want to come to denver, because the style of play they are going to.
