So we should crucify him for acting like a baby but all of these fans that are acting like babies are good people? You all are crying about it FAR more than Jay. I like how you all want to call him a cry baby when he just stated that he was upset we thought about trading him and that he wants to stay on this team. Yet, you all cry for weeks about how horrible he is and you don't crucify yourselves.

Jay is loved by his teammates. They are friends and he is a great locker room leader, no matter what you people think you know. He stays composed in big situations of the field, and yes, will sometimes look upset when playing bad. The same way EVERY NFL QB does, including Manning and Brady.

BTW, if you believe the limted info comming from this, McDaniels was lying to Cutler. What good is going to come of talking to someone who is just going to blatantly lie to your face?

I think these fans just need to get over themselves.

I saw this happen with Elway on more than one occasion. I never thought the less of for it either.

I believe you are wrong about there being no way this gets reported on KOA by Schefter before NFL Network. I believe Schefter broke the Simms news on the Ride Home Show with Dave Logan. I don't think it was being reported on any major media outlets until that time.

I could be wrong though.

just listened to KOA 850

at the top of the hour they have updates and it was "NFL KOA INSIDER ADAM SCHEFTER" who spoke of all of this and said "They will not meet this week as previously scheduled"

I just listened to KOA radio sports news online. What was reported: there will be no meeting this week between Jay Cutler and the Broncos. There was a short audio clip of Adam Schefter saying that Cutler was extremely angry over the trade talk. No word on who, if anyone, cancelled the meeting.

I think some of you are being unfairly harsh on the OP. I bet what happened is the OP heard one of those canned comercials that radio stations run that highlight a segment from a previous show. He probably heard excerpts from a week ago or whenever it was that Jay canceled the first meeting.

Anyone that is OK with his actions over this whole McDaniels trade thing is kidding themselves. We do not know the whole story, but from what I've read and seen, he went the wrong way about it, he should have confronted Josh instead of running to the media.

I think you might have missed the part about his agent getting cut off by the organization. At some point, going to the media had to happen. They already had the story, why not try to control it? That's how PR works... unfortunately, we get back to the lack of tact thing again. Jay is not very good at PR.

I working in Advertising/Communications and we use the media all the time. Professionals who do this know how to word things properly so as to control the message. Once again, Jay is not good at it. Who cares? Somebody set him straight and told him to lay low.

It's amazing to me that neither the Broncos Organization nor Cutler's agent know the golden rule about the media and communications: If you're not on offense, you're on defense. Ironic, eh?

BTW, when was he a **** to fans, when did he throw our defense under the bus half way through the seasons, and when did he act like a QB god that can't be traded? Please give some examples.

-Many people who have attended the Denver Broncos fan fair (including myself) have said that Cutler was a major jerk to the fans. He was very very late for his portion of the autograph signing portion and when he got their he wouldn't talk to any fans or take any pics. Yea nice guy...

-Acting like a big baby now after being discussed in trade talks. Whining to the media about McDaniels trying to get Cassell.

- And if you seriously don't remember Jay throwing the defense under the bus several times throughout the season then you seriously need to be checked for mental issues...
