                    'They're killin'me, Whitey, they're killin' me!'

                    -Lou Saban as captured by NFL Films

                    Saban was responsible for finally turning the Broncos ship around from being doormats in the 1960's, which lead to the success they had in the late 70's.

                    RIP

                            requiescat in pace, Lou

                            Those were crazy days;
                            -half a loaf is better than none
                            -Steve Tensi
                            -South Stand throwing full beer bottles at Tensi
                            -Floyd Little
                            -Rich Jackson
                            -crushing Joe Namath at Mile High the year after he won SBIII
                            -beating the Browns (your old team) in Cleveland after the NFL/AFL merger when Art Modell said, "I just can't see the Denver Broncos playing in Cleveland Sradium."

                            Way to go, Bro, you brought the Broncos up to speed.

                            You loved the game so much you went back and coached high school teams (where the conditioning was brutal, I'll bet).

                            smooth sailing forever
