That pretty much flies in the face of your argument that a QB can't afford to be "A solitary inch" less.
Ok, I meant in this century, the only century that matters. I do not care what happened in the 50's, you know, when you were in your twenties. modern day only. The only time period that matters in the slightest. I do not care about when the founding fathers played football, it has no affect on today's game grandpa

You should really start reading "Americas Game", which chronicles the history of pro football, because if you did, you would now that the first SB took place in 1967 and that was at least 30 years after the "founding fathers" started pro football.

Also, you said that one inch under 6-4 meant a QB was not capable of winning a SB. That's simply inaccurate, even in the modern age. Kurt Warner, John Elway, Brett Favre and Steve Young, each under 6-4, all played in the modern era and each won a SB.

I like McDaniels, he will be a good coach. Just not for this team. Belichick needed his Cleveland stint to become the coach he is now and McDaniels is showing the same signs.

      • My wife says size doesn't matter... I knew she was lying...

Three more inches and I could have won a super bowl.

Are you really going to make this dumb of an argument? Cutler is the same height as Elway. Favre wasn't 6'4 either. Warner isn't 6'4. Brees isn't 6'4. You really are going nuts over one inch of height? Are you that desperate? lol seriously that's pathetic.

i meant more in the context "run out of town" in this forum by the fans. because suddenly, if you read most of the stuff here, it seemed he did nothing but trash in his 3 years here.

oh please. do you want to go back tehre again?! what do you think started this mess anyway?!
Bowlen said it never even got to his desk, so it couldn't have gone very far to begin with.
