Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Same place I was before.....everyone is going nuts about the game, and failing to understand that PS is a time to EVALUATE and PRACTICE....and this was just the first game.....so my "status" has not changed.....other than to say that Orton has a little bit of rust to knock off, which he will take care of, or lose his job, simple as that.....and oh yea, PLEASE GOD LET KNOWSHON BE OK!!
less worried. i don't care how bad kyle orton was, i would trade elway himself if our defense could keep opponents to 17 points every week especially when they do it despite 3 freakin interceptions.
disclaimer: if the above post appears to contain outrageously illogical content, ITS PROBABLY SARCASM
MUCH less worried. Our defense looked great, and Simms played exactly how Orton would have played in my wildest dreams. As long as Knowshon isn't seriously injured, I feel this will be a better team than last year.
I think it's still too early to tell... although I must say I was impressed with Simms and the defense. Orton should still be the starter though and I am sticking with him. Aside from the picks Orton was actually able to move the chains so it's a little too early to throw him under the bus.
how about elated? I am so happy with this team now, I think simms has the makings of a good starter and our d is a huge step up over last year. I am psyched about this team my buddy who came over to watch the game with me was completely impressed with us tonight (and he typically bashes the broncos) so I think we're lookg decent we'll see what the rest of preseason does for us.
