    Kansas City NO - Wrong.
Miami Maybe - Wrong. This is a definite yes.
NY Jets NO - No, but only because they invested in Sanchez and will give him time to develop.
Cleveland Maybe - Wrong. This a definite yes.
Jacksonville Maybe - Wrong. This a definite yes.
Washington Maybe - Wrong. This a definite yes.
Detroit NO - See notes on Jets.
Carolina Maybe - They owe Jake big money, so they might stick it out with him regardless.
St. Louis Maybe - Wrong. This a definite yes.
San Francisco Maybe - Wrong. This a definite yes.
Houston Probably Not - Wrong. This a definite yes.
Tampa Bay Maybe - Wrong. This a definite yes.
And, Minnesota when Favre quits again. NO not this season - This one might be right.
So other than the 16 you're wrong about, you're absolutely right with your 17 assertions.

Silly comment. Orton has only played for two teams so far and on both of them, when given a chance to honestly compete for the starting job, he's won it.

I think he would start on a lot more of them than you realize, were he signed by them and given an honest chance to compete for the job.

    I'll say it again:

I wish McDaniels would start Brandstater just to watch people's heads explode.

    ORTON! Brandstater

Now not everyone is doubting that he is not a good QB. We obviously see that he has the starting job right now. But you have to agree that when you are hurt and you will hear head coaches say this over and over. When you are hurt you do not give the team "the best chance to win" and that is what I am concerned with.

I know that orton can get the job done whether its pretty or not but the thing is knowing when someone else can get in there and do it better when you are not up to par. That is all I will say on Orton. I do believe that he is good enough to get the job done with a great def. we all seen that a couple of years ago when chicago went to the superbowl.

What we need to do is put those who are healthy in that can get a better chance to win and we would not have needed to worry about our defense stopping everytime but thank goodness they did with all the three and outs we suffered. Defense will wear down with that kind of game playing by mid season and we will start incurring some injuries that we can not afford. So bring in Brandstater and let him have a crack at it. After all if you are a true BRONCOS FAN You want the people in that give you the best chance to win and now that is BRANDSTATER!! When ortons finger gets better and he can give us a better chance I am all For it!!!!!!

There are 9 possible teams where Orton could start if you count Denver.

Last I checked the Bengals had their own "Carson Palmer" and still lost the game. There goes your theory.

How many does Cutler actually have then?

You know, the Bengals DID have their own "Carson Palmer" caliber quarterback Sunday. How'd that work out for them?

    • Kyle Orton - 17 of 28 (60.7%) for 243 yds (8.7 avg), 1 TD, 0 INT, passer rating of 100.7
    • Carson Palmer - 21 of 33 (63,6%) for 247 yds (7.5 avg), 0 TD, 2 INT, passer rating of 61.0

    Don't hate on the 8!

Cutler's stat was flashed in the late game and it was 7 IIRC. I also remember that Chicago had one pass play of 30 yards or more last year (completion to Devin Hester IIRC). I'm sure if I wasn't so tired, I could dredge up about 30 other random stats that I saw from various games. Like I said, I have a lot of weak areas, but remembering random stats from any game I see is not one of them.
    That was Carson Palmer's.

People thought he wasn't good enough to start in Chicago either, but when given a chance to compete, he won the job.

Teams for which he could start
    Buffalo
    Oakland
    Kansas City
    Miami
    NY Jets
    Cleveland
    Jacksonville
    Washington
    Detroit
    Carolina
    St. Louis
    San Francisco
    Houston
    Tampa Bay
And, Minnesota when Favre quits again.

That's nearly half the teams in the NFL.

I know you won't believe this, but historically, when he's been allowed to compete, he's fared very well.

He is also more mobile and willing to take a wahck unlike Orton who sees pressure and folds. Orton doesn't even make a extra move to buy time I find it sickening.
