Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

True true and props to Orton. He has done a fair job managing the games so far. He was a little lucky yesterday with some off target throws, I hope it get s abit better when the glove comes off. Sometimes, I hold my breath w/ him though..either way we are 4-0 and I don'ty think a person here or on this planet in fact could have guessed.
Let's hope we keep it rolling because Dallas was the first real test.
:go:
I knocked orton yesterday for the poor 1st half. After thinking about it, I was wrong. He threw the pass that helped win the game in the end and he deserves all the credit he can get along with Marshall for gutting it out.
1st 4 games with a new team and new O is nothing that should be taken lightly. There were a couple of close calls, but in the end, I don't feel that uneasy feeling when he lets go of the ball.
Of course right now he's playing above average...don't get me wrong, I am confident Orton will play well enough for us to do well...I just think it'd be a little silly to say he's above average.
Statistically, he's maybe a little bit above average. Athletically? Not so much.
As far as I'm concerned though, he can be as athletic as a cactus as long as he wins games.
