And you, once again, neglected to mention the team.
I'm not letting you get away with that. I'm calling you on that every time.

But in spread offenses, quarterbacks almost "are puppets on the field," Jaworski says. They are not required to read defensive coverage or change plays on offense.

documentation and represent it honestly. To date, you have not done that.
And Brady does not have an especially strong arm. Manning and Orton both have
stronger arms, and Plummer's was just as strong.
And the whole league had a high opinion of Russell back then. If you disagreed,
then let's see a time-stamped post of yours saying so. If you can't, then you
have no basis to say anything about it.

Exactly . . .

How did that work out?

Originally posted by The Big D View PostThis is nonsensical - Orton is failing horribly to score in this offense, which I noticed is the one stat you DIDN'T post despite being in the end almost the only thing that mattered. So let's look at that. In 2006 (Brady's worst year in this O) the Pats average 24.1 points of offense per game, 7th in the league.
With Cassel in 2008, they averaged 25.6, good for 8th in the league. In 2009, Orton managed 20.5, good for 20th in the league. Stands out like a sore thumb, doesn't it?
Orton is in fact the worst this offense has ever been run. Remember, this is the best offensive scheme the NFL has ever seen - the offense that put up something like 37 points per game in 2007. The problem is simply that Orton can't get the job done.
YOU SAID
Originally posted by The Big Dlast year was the absolute worst McD has ever seen his offense run. Even Cassel, who last started at QB in high school, ran it better.
In 2008(Cassell) The Pats had 21 rushing tds
In 2009(Orton) The Broncos had 9 rushing tds
Again you backtrack and and try and change the subject after being owned and you just get further owned.
You are proving time and time again that the majority of stuff you post is ridiculous and is only intended to flame and disrupt threads .
Ill be waiting for your response In which Im sure will now involve you changing the subject to something else ."(Touchdowns) are the goal," Orton said. "You can run for as many yards as you want, throw for as many yards as you want, but you have to convert to seven points. I think we're going to be explosive, be dynamic, be versatile."

-----Originally posted by The Big D View PostNo he didn't - Russel had mediocre stats against weak opposition. You obviously haven't looked into this very deeply.
You just ignore what you can't answer, don't you?
