    I would like to see them spread the ball around a lot more...
    I hope Orton does not simply throw to Jabar the way he threw to Marshall.
    Remember that a lot of Marshalls stats were desperate throws playing catch up.

    I think a lot of our success is going to depend on playcalling and being less one dimensional.

    Throwing the ball mid range to long on first down will stretch the field.

    Punching it up the gut every single first down, followed by a bubble screen, will not stretch the field.
    We saw enough of that last year to last a lifetime.

    I want to see some innovative use of our entire fleet of wideouts.

    It all starts with the coach.

        Wr?

        X = Gaffney, Thomas?

        Split Y/Ace formation = McKinley, ? (Lloyd, Willis)

        Z = Royal, Decker?

        I hope Stokley goes into coaching.

          I would think it would be:

          X=Gaffney, Decker, Lloyd/Willis (possession type)
          Z= Thomas, McKinley, Lloyd/Willis (speed)
          Y=Royal, Decker, Lloyd/Willis (slot)

            There will be some tough choices to be made at WR this year, no doubt.
            ya but stokley being what 34 really really doesnt help his chances when there are young guys making plays when he is hurt. I wouldnt be surprised if we carried 7 recievers with thomas decker royal gaffney loyd mkinnley and willis since both willis and mckinnley provide a deep threat that this offense doesnt have yet
