I think since all the injuries that happened with the start of training camp and the fact that every little scrape and bruise is tweeted by ten different people and posted on thirty nine different websites we're just starting to overreact. Tearing scar tissue is part of the rehabilitation process from the surgery and injury that Thomas suffered.

I'm betting it's just that, and I'm sure he'll be fine. Unfortunately since McD is overly secretive about these things, we probably won't know for a while

Until I hear the severity of the "injury" I'm taking any injury report with A grain of salt..

I think you may be right. I think I got the whole Active/Reserve PUP mixed up. Active is for pre-TC, and then Reserve is for during Preseason, but the Reserve is for the players who were on the Active PUP. Either way, I wouldn't let the guy come back in less than a month, regardless if it's just another "scar tissue tear."

Nagging injuries to 1st Rounders is annoying.

sucks that both of our first rounders are injured. as long Thomas is ready for week 1 then I don't have a problem. I just pray to Allah that his injury is not severe. Foot fractures are the worst.

Denver Post confirmed that Demaryius Thomas re-aggravated foot injury on Tuesday. He's getting check out to see severity.

                      That's too bad

I was really excited to see this kid in some meaningful action. I know it's not the same as a holdout but when rookies aren't able to practice their ability to perform in NFL is limited (which only makes sense). He seems like a great kid, I hope everything works out for him

Put him on the PUP list so that he doesn't have a choice but to get healthy and he won't rush himself back onto the field before he's ready. Then bring him back after the bye.

Since you seem to be confused, the reason nobody was talking about DT is because he was predicated to get drafted in a spot were we didn't have a pick, why would anybody talk about a guy who we more than likely wouldn't get?

The reason everybody was talking about Dez is because he was supposed to be picked right around where our first round pick was, the same thing with McClain, thats why there was so much talk about him as well. Add to the fact that pretty much every mock draft out there had us picking Bryant.

As the above poster mentioned there was still plenty of talk about us drafting Thomas.
I didnt think we needed a receiver we just needed Orton to get more confortable with the playbook. With our DL and LB core look the way it did last season how could you draft a WR and a QB first 2 picks. We should have drafted a LB,NT,RB first.

I agree these reporters don't have to be acurate, just first...

something tells me that he came in this morning and it was sore so they are really having a specialist check it out today to see if everything is structurally sound, or if it's just sore....

he didn't "leave" practice yesterday, and it was found out before practice today...

Somehow that turns in to re-injured, when it correctly should be aggrivated, or seeing a specialist to make sure nothing major is hammerd up...

The sorenes sucks, but could be a smaller issue that is being led on.
