  • Week 3-8 Tough run this year?

I think will be our toughest run this year and thank god there is a bye week on week 9 to get a few bruises healed up.

This is the line up with the Raiders in between Jets and 49er's

All these teams have a good Offense or Defense or both and if or Broncos can win these 6 games we have a good chance at a playoff spot maybe AFC champ's. Oh and the Chargers are week 11 and 17 so they could play spoiler again god forbid.

    yep tough spell for sure.

    colts- loss
tenn- win, if we contain CJ-he is so fast- he could rape us as we struggle with speedsters.
    Balt-loss
Jets-win-way overrated, no offense only defense
    niners-win-tough D, ok offense-we are better

I say 3-2 during that stretch
    So far:
    FA- Melvin Gordon. Brandon Scherff
    1. Kenneth Murray LB; 2. Shenault WR; 2B. Biadazz Center, 3. OT

        colts - loss #18
titans - loss b/c it's in Tennessee and CJ is crazy
ravens - loss great team, could win AFC IMO
jets - win close one but win at home
raiders - win redeem ourselves at home after embarrassing loss last year
49ers - win Our defense too much for Alex Smith

3-3 in that stretch would be understandable

At least its the first time we play the Raiders, we always beat them in the first game, and they always beat us in the second.

Isn't it about time we beat the Colts, how many times can we lose to them?

The best thing about when we play in oakland is it's late in the year and the team won't be playing on a dirt diamond I hate that.

              It's a formitable run, but.....

              Indy's at home
              Jets are at home
SF is in london, and it's a longer trip for them than us.

Baltiomre is a tough place to play, but their thin secondary, and denver's young high motor o-line will cause a better match up than last year, and denver was in the game until mid 4th quarter.

Nothing tops last years schedule though....

Colts- win I just feel that we can beat this Colts team

Ten-win stack the box and let the Champ/Goodman vs Vince Young battle begin

Balt-could go either way is really a test of how far we have come in one year

Jets-win After watching Sanchez and the Revis situation they could fall apart

Niners-win-we are better than the Niners and on neutral ground I take our offense over their offense
"(Touchdowns) are the goal," Orton said. "You can run for as many yards as you want, throw for as many yards as you want, but you have to convert to seven points. I think we're going to be explosive, be dynamic, be versatile."

"Perception is everything in this league, and a lot of times, unless you're a self-promoter, it can become negative," - Kyle Orton

                  Colts-Loss.....we never beat them
Ravens-Loss we never beat them either
Jets-loss...they will have a similar scheme on defense as the Ravens and will shut our offense down.
Niners-loss......they will win their division this year and they will sqeak out one in London vs us 21-17.
Titans-loss.....we won't stop CJ or Vince.

Bad stretch which may be the end of Orton and the beginning of Tebow.

Why do u think those are winnable games, especially the Jets and Colts ones? Ill give u the Titans and Niners as winnable ones though but the Jets are gonna blitz like crazy and breathe on Orton and he will fall down. Manning is gonna throw to Dallas Clark all gm because we never seem to cover him lol.

We nearly beat the Colts last season, and are defense overwhelmed Manning for the most part.

Sanchez isn't all that great and if Revis doesn't play (as expected) Gaffney will just have a field day on their secondary. Possibly DT as well.

The Jets are very overrated IMO... they were lucky to have a dominant running game last season to help them out.

You are right about Sanchez, but I don't know if Gaffney will dominate many secondaries other than the Chiefs. We did almost beat the Colts but didn't get some breaks in that game but we never beat the Colts lol. As for the Jets, that running game was dominant and they have almost the same offensive line as last season and unless we show that we can stop the run consistently they could roll through us running. If Revis isn't there that does change things but if he is there, we won't hear from whoever he is covering. I think their defense will confuse Orton and force some bad throws since it will be a similar scheme to what Baltimore runs.

Well other than Revis the Jets secondary really isn't that impressive. They have Kyle Wilson who's an unknown at this point. Cromartie isn't anything special so we don't have much to worry about there. I honestly don't think Revis will be playing at all this season. And even if he was there, he can't cover everyone.

In indy last year after spotting them 21 points, it was a closer game than some want to admit. Indy's tough, but the lost to Superbowl, and it's a home game.

The jets were 7-7 when indy laid down, then cincy pulled the starters. Jet's made the playoffs, and their defense and rushing game played lights out, and carried them through some good wins.

They have a lot of momentum and talent, but they have a lot of ego's.

Not to mention that running game that carried them got rid of Fanica & Jones, and all pro guard, and a RB who piled on a whole bunch of yards. It will be interesting to see it play out.

                              the jets start out:

                              Baltimore
NE (pasted them the second time they played the jets)
                              Miami (swept them)
                              Buffalo
                              Minisota
                              Denver
                              Bye week

Focus will be an issue as well as what happend the previous weeks.
