Some of our older Bronco fans may know this guy. I don't know his name but he was a D-lineman back in the early days. He was incredible, on the level of a Deacon Jones. I can't remember his name I think it was either Johnson or Taylor. But I hear he was viscious(sp). Anybody know who I am talking about?

That's a hard toss up between Smith and Atwater. Went with Atwater just because of the "Nigerian Nightmare" incident.

I think he's talking about Rich Jackson, DE.

It was between Smith and Atwater. Loved to watch them both zero on their targets, but who was it that knocked themselves out in the Super Bowl?
Helping rock the Stadium on game day!!!

Atwater saw stars after hitting Smith against the Packers. I believe both were hitting Freeman to seal the victory.

                        Atwater, no question.

Wilson, Lynch and Kennedy are hitters. Pound for pound it was pretty apparent that Atwater hit harder. He probably hit harder than both of those guys straight up, too.

Additionally, DJ Williams can bring the wood. Do not doubt it. So can Nick Ferguson.

DJ obliterated Mike Alstott last game. Look for more to come.

Can't leave out Dennis Smith. He was the bom, too.

In my generation I'd have to say Steve Atwater. I still remember the hit he had on Christen Okoyyea(sp). At the time he had 20lbs on Atwater and it looked like he hit a brick wall.

                              Atwater for sure...no competition.

I still remeber the quote after the Okoye hit

                              "You cryin baby?"

I like how Kennoy brings it too though
"There's only one guy in the world that could make that throw..."
