The Panthers had the hardest schedule in the league!

Opp Total win 142 Opp Total Loss 114 .555

I know this doesn't justify hiring him but it does come into play when you point out records.

He has a better post season record than Shanahan overall.

Over the past decade Fox is 5-3 and Shanahan is 1-4 in the playoffs.

Yes, when people don't get what they want, they cry and whine and stomp their feet like little children. He's our coach. This thread is pointless. Get over it.

Mods really should put a stop to all the negative threads like this. All they do is cry, cry, cry. But oh well. I guess there are more important things to worry about.

He wasn't fired for having a 2-14 season. I believe he knew he was going to be fired and gave up. An article states that Richardson (Panthers owner) thought of making the change last season but with Fox and his staff having $11 million in salaries owed, one way or another, he thought it best to wait until Fox's Contract expired.

So Fox was going to be fired after an 8-8 season for Failure to produce back to back winning season. 7-9, 11-5, 7-9. 11-5, 8-8, 7-9, 12-4, 8-8, 2-14. The Panthers reason for wanting Fox gone was Failure to produce back to back winning seasons not having a 2-14 season..

I hate the Defenseless Receiver rule and the fines. Posted since '07. 2011 rule addition :nono: backhand a fool!
