What would you like to see the Broncos run next year? I think the way the league is headed, and with the personnel we already have in place, the 3-4 makes the most sense for us. My biggest concern with the hiring of John Fax was that all of his previous work was with the 4-3, i hope he's open to switching it up and trying a new system.

You beat me to starting this thread, I think we should keep the 3-4 because it is our best bet on getting presser on the QB and it fits our best pass rusher Doom. Another question to add is what DC would you like to see us bring in?
I am mixed right now buy would like to see Mora Jr. or Singletary.

i voted 4-3 because it will be much easier to add d-line depth along the way. doom is a situational pass rusher in either 3-4 or 4-3 anyway, so i don't see that big of a difference
with the 4-3, wesley woodyard becomes a full time starter and ayers can go back to putting a hand in the ground

It will tell me alot about Fox.
Mike Tomlin was hired by the Steelers as a 4-3 coach.
He realized he became the HEAD COACH of the Steelers, not the DC, and that the Steelers had a great DC and the personnel to fit the 3-4, so he stayed with it.
Denver's best players in the front seven, namely Elvis Dumvervil, fit the 3-4 defense.
The personnel says the Broncos should stick with thr 3-4, but ultimately, it is obvious now that Fox was brought in to repair the defense, so I expect the Broncos to go back to the 4-3.
Good luck with that.

really i would be fine with Wink, i think consistency breeds success; we cant be changing DC's every year an expect to see instant results...
I also thing Doom, when healthy is a top 3 rush OLB in the 3-4, however as a 4-3 DE he's quite pedestrian. You dont go and lock up a player like him and run a system that exposes his flaws.sigpic
Thanks Sporting4life!
