  • Demaryius Thomas not placed on IR

No IR, Denver only keeping 4 receivers...

Looks like he's making his return at some point this season...

    or ?

That's pretty weird.... If we put him on IR that means we couldn't bring him back until after week 6, but if he's not on IR does that mean we think he'll be back before then? Cause if so that really sounds like we're rushing him back in which IMO is a bad idea.

      I think you mean PUP

I havent heard anything about him going on the PUP

I hope he does though, last thing we need is another set back for him

If he's on IR he's done for the year. If he's on the PUP list then he's out for 6 weeks after which we can activate him. Either way he would not count against the current 53 man roster (I believe)

He'll be put on the PUP list which means they can bring into practice after week 6(I believe that's the maker) and by week 10 they have to decide whether to activate him or put him on IR.

If they put him on IR, he would be out for the whole season no matter what.

Not a surprise, he's rehabbing well, and could return by Week 3-4.

Wouldn't be surprised if they put him on the PUP list.

It's been a good 6 months since his surgery. He should be inching closer to returning to the field.

If he's ready he's ready. There is no point in holding him back.

If they think he can return by week 3 or 4 I sure as hell would be surprised if they put him on IR.

It is a pretty savvy roster move to keep 4 WRs...wonder if it will stay that way? I expect a couple WRs will be on the PS.

I know many wanted Riley, but truth is he is not a ST player and it would take injuries to both Royal and Lloyd for him to ever see the field. Maybe the kid can make it next year ala Willis.

As for DT, they just do not need to make a decision now. All there is to it. Week 6 rolls around he can be moved to IR if not ready.

I find it strange that we're keeping five safeties and only 4 WR's. Welcome to Fox ball people!

In this offense it's more common to have an extra TE than a 3rd WR.

Please don't rush him, back. I think we should bring him back slowly. Let him play STs.

When you say, "let him play ST's", are you referring to returning kicks?

Actually, I remember him doing pretty well as a gunner last year.

I think the keeping 5 safeties had more to do with not wanting to waive one of our younger guys, knowing that this is DAWKS last year.
