Are some of you serious? I constantly see Dumervil putting pressure on the QB and I think he's the main reason why Von is getting sacks like he is. He has rushed many throws this year he may not get the sacks but a sack stat isn't necessarily what makes you a good player.

Come on man!!! Open your eyes!! DOOM did NOT get doubled teamed yesterday!!! he got man handled 1-on-1 by backus!!! Everone needs to get off the "DOOM is getting doubled teamed and is opening up things for Miller" talk and start talking the truth. DOOM had 1 good play in that game. 1.

Doom is playing very well this season even if his sack count doesnt show it.
Show me a play from the Lions game where he was double teamed? Then show me one where he pushed that double team anywhere.

I am starting to think some of you don't even what number DOOM wears because he has done nothing this season and very few double teams. Maybe it's a rerun you are watching.....

HE IS ALSO INJURED AND PLAYING HURT!...Are they? Have they came off of season ending surgery?...

All this talk about Dumervil getting double teamed needs to stop. Shut up already. Demarcus Ware gets double teamed, Jason Babin and Trent Cole gets double teamed. Jared Allen gets doubled teamed as does Tamba Hali and Clay Matthews. Dumervil has underperformed since the huge contract. The reality is that the guy is more suited to play in a 3-4 scheme. His pash rushing abilities are limited with him playing as a down lineman. But to claim that he is ineffective because of double teams is just as stupid as the claims of Gerard Warren being our best defensive lineman when he was here. Remember that? That his job was to eat up blocks? And how good that fat slob was at it. Come on. Stop making excuses for these guys.
Only a fool allows another's opinion to anger him to the point of hurling insults.

If anybody watches the Packers, Matthews is double teamed on virtually every play, yet he still finds ways to produce..

These Dumervil double teams arguments are not valid IMO..it's an excuse..he's a good player, but he has been unproductive since he got paid..he's always hurt, which compounds the issue..

The D-line has played well IMO..if the linebackers were producing more, this D would be better IMO, despite the terrible secondary..

The fact that he is always injured is another indictment on him, tbh..

if he is too hurt to play, why is he on the field?

Well, to be fair, how many players on our team even made 1 good play against DET?
