Finally - Balance in Play Calling!

I can't tell you how frustrated I have been much of the year. Every week after the game, I would call my dad and we would discuss the ultra conservative play calling. Every week, I would say, if they would only let Tebow pass more on first and second down. We are becoming too predictable.

I don't know how many games I watched where Tebow threw 2-4 passes in the first half. How do we convert on third downs when all we do is run.

However, Sunday's game against the vaunted Pittsburgh Steelers our coaching staff finally put together a great game plan. After two conservative drives, they finally started mixing up our play calling. Pittsburgh was so determined to stop the run with nine guys in the box, that when we mixed it up we had so many one on one match ups that Tebow was able to show off his abilities.

I am hoping we have learned so that we no longer will have the most predictable offense in the NFL. If we have, we have a chance to become an elite team. With the exception of our secondary, we have a very young team.

I looked at my boy, Trevor, and said..

"if we had kicked that field goal....."

We neither one of us felt good about it at that moment.

When we went to overtime.... I started to breath again...

He has faith in our special teams, and defense to hold um and win the field position battle. If Prater were to miss, they have excellent field position and we are then hoping to hold them to 3. Or they return the miss for a touchdown.

aye... I feel like when you have a weapon like that and while you are in the mile high air you should take those shots.

Yea, definitely. I really hope we give Prater a chance to break the FG record eventually at Mile High because he's more than capable.

The kicks against the Bears could've gone 70 yards, not even kidding.

Prater definitely has the leg but I dare you to call Prater an accurate kicker. He's made 76% of his FGs this year. He has a leg and is clutch but there is a reason Fox punts it because he juts doesn't want to take the risk he misses and he sets up an easy scoring possession for the other team. I don't necessarily agree with it, but it happens for a reason.

Good grief...I only scrolled down through one page....they're trashing possibly the greatest defensive mind in the history of hte game.
