How is the scene out there? Violinist? You do lots of wedding receptions?
It's picking up after a couple of down years. There are some good venues out here. We do an occasional reception, but mostly we do the ceremony and often the cocktail hour. It seems ike most people want a DJ for their reception. We also do concerts and festivals.

    How the scene in NC?

Good point. Awesome that the Broncos have had so many players worthy of being called 'The Man"!

When I drove from Ky to Den and back the only Bronco I met was Rod Smith. After he heard I drove from Ky he pointed me out in the front of the whole crowd and made fun of me because I said I drove there to see him, after everyone got a good laugh I still got his Rod's audio graft on my John Lynch jersey.

We had just finished playing a gig at Belmar in Lakewood this afternoon and she went to get the car while I stayed with the gear. When she got back she said, "I'll pack the car, you go over there to (I forget the name of the restaurant). I just met Rod Smith. Hurry, he said he wouldn't be there very long!"

I went over to where she said, but he had left already

She shook his hand and told him she was a big fan of his. She said she got a little flustered and thought she sounded like a goof, but she said he was really nice. Apparently he was waiting for a salad to go, so by the time she got back to me and told me about it he had left.

Some people have all the luck!
