These are the games we must win imo to win the SB this year. Obviously if we lose one of these must win games, and win the rest and go 15-1 we'll have a great shot. But let's assume there might be a couple of bumps in the road, and so these games are important.
Must Win Games for the 2012 Broncos:
Week 1: Steelers- Steelers should not be at their best in week one. Let's destroy them while their not at full strength, giving us a better shot at homefield advantage as well as helping the Ravens. Why help the Ravens? B/c we can beat them. Not a question imo. Manning owns the ravens. We can blow them out, squeak out a win, w/e but Manning will always win that game, even if there D is playing lights out. And playing @Bal is no different, we'll still win. Anything we can do to help Bal get homefield advantage is a win for us. And hopefully they can knock NE out of the playoffs for us.
Week 5: @New England- NE will be the main challenge to getting a #1 seed. They have a ridiculously easy schedule. Their losses will not be many, so if we can have the tie breaker over them that will be helpful. Playing @NE in January is difficult, so let's aim to host them at Mile High in the playoffs.
Week 6: @San Diego- They are our only real competition for the division. If we can beat them at their place, we'll be in great shape to win the division. yes the other teams in the division are good, but only Rivers has a chance of beating Manning in a shootout. An early win vs SD would be huge.
Week 8: Saints- Saints don't have Payton we all know that. But they have a ton of weapons on offense and it will be a shootout most likely. A top 2 Te, a very underrated wr in Colston, a lightening fast wr in Henderson, great backs in terms of Y/A running as well as great passing catchers too. Sproles is deadly on KR/PR. The NFC is deep in terms of teams that could go to the playoffs, but the only two teams we need to worry about imo in the SB is the Saints and Packers. And the SB is in NO, so that would be like homefield advantage for them...No we can't play them in the SB. Another lost for the saints will help them not get homefield advantage in the nfc playoffs or maybe not even make the playoffs. Out of the Super Dome the saints arent that great, so let's do our best to keep them out of it.
That's my opinions, what are all of yours?
Let's go Broncos, 2012-2013 SB Champs!
