If I'm looking at this right, we just need to win out and if NE drops one, we will move into the second seed.

Looks like we gotta hope Houston can beat NE, and hope that BAL loses to us. That would get us 2nd.

          They'll win both.

They will beat SF. Houston will be a good game, that's our only hope.

NE looked pretty average against Miami today and Buffalo a few weeks back, but neither team had the offense to put them away. Houston does.

Don't rule out the #1 seed just yet either, though we would need some help but it could happen & here is how...

              1. first thing is we win out = 13-3
              2. patriots lose once, they play Houston & San Francisco the next two weeks
              3. texans must lose 3 times, ok yeah it sounds impossible but not so fast, Texans remaining schedule is tough...they have the Patriots, Colts, Vikings & finish with Colts again who are on a roll.

So best case scenario is Patriots beat Texans & then lose to the 49ers while the Texans lose at least one to the Colts if not both or lose to the Vikings & thus Patriots & Texans end up 12-4.

I know it sounds crazy but hey we can hope right?

We'll probably either go 4-0 and snag the #2 seed, or lose a game and end up the #4th seed. I would prefer the 4th seed to the 3rd, because I think we have a better chance getting to the AFC title game playing in HOU than playing in NE? Problem with the 4th seed is we have to win 2 road games to get to New Orleans.

So, let's just win out and get that coveted BYE week.

That is not necessarily true, if the 6th seed wins two times then they would come to Denver for the AFC Championship in that scenario.

And if PIT sneaks in as the 6th seed... that is possible. They could win a game on the road in HOU or NE.

That is kinda how it went down in 2005, but we were the #2 seed then & they was the #6 seed but the results will be different this time if we get to that point again.

If the Broncos are going to be the best, then where they travel isn't going to make a bit of difference.

Good defensive teams, or teams that don't shoot themselves all game long can make things a nightmare for New England. The Dolphins made a zillion mistakes today: a botched punt, a roughing-the-punter penalty and a fumble resulted in 17 New England points, and another penalty negated a Dolphins touchdown. Final score? 23-16. They needed a load of help to win, and Denver can DEFINITELY give New England troubles that Miami can't.

That was the start of the downfall for shannahan. Not long did he bench plummer and got jay cutler...you know the rest. Now for this year, the colts are the only team I am getting uneasy about as well as those pesky steelers.

Hou might lose 2 more, highly unlikely they lose 3.

2 is a good number. Pats and colts away are going to be difficult. But that is all I can really see.
