What are your thoughts on the couple throws he made today?

He completed a couple of them. Hey we are the first seed! Cool.

Brock hands off the ball and kneels very well.

        1. He has a cannon.

        2. He looked more comfortable than he did in preseason.

        3. He has a cannon.

        4. He needs to learn you don't have to put everything into the short throws. It's hard to tell from the tiny sample size, but it sorta looked like he was trying to gun it in there a little too much a couple of them. I'd rather it be that then the other way around though.

        5. He has a cannon.

Nothing to really say. Low risk slants are what those were. It'll be interesting seeing how he progresses in way of throwing the ball down the field and reading more complex defenses.

I hope he's soaking up knowledge from Manning

Not really much to judge from two completions....

He looks really poised and leader-like. So that's good I guess.

Wish they'd let him throw more. Forcing him to throw in 3rd down situations exclusively is poor decision making by our coaches IMO. I understand progressing him slowly and it's okay to run it 80% of the time, but give him a little more variety.

I too was hoping the coaching staff would have let him throw some more. But in the little action he got I though his release looked good, his footwork was decent on his drops and what I was most impressed by was the confidence in his throws. I'm excited to see what he can do for us in 3-4 years.

                          Needs more reps for sure.

Looks a lot better with an actual line protecting him. Made some great throws for the few he got. Went to the sideline and soaked up more knowledge from Manning. I love that when the offense is debriefing, Brock is right there with Peyton, soaking it all in.

Still a better QB than Sanchez.
