    Yep.

I'm not at all worried about our offense, they'll roll and do their thing. What worries me is the possibility of Foxball in crucial situations. I would rather go out with a bang than play not to lose. Play aggressive, have no mercy on both sides of the ball.

If Fox needs any pointers, he should watch the Helicopter Dive by #7. Play to win coach, thanks.

I know Peyton backed the decision but what he's supposed to say? Anyway, it's not gonna happen again.

During the 2-8 stretch, it was the Defense that went from superstars to not so terribly impressive. I know that it is an unpopular notion here, but I didn't see a huge difference between the defense in the 2-8 stretch under Nolan and the 4-12 under Wink. Doom was a monster in those first 6 games and when opposition adjusted/he was lost for the season our D looked really bad.

What JDR has done here however is to take a D that under Dennis Allen were instrumental in huge losses, where we were blown out in 40+ point losses. The defense has been much more cohesive under Del Rio and I hope he stays around. Fox is not my cup of tea, but Del Rio is a great addition

Otherwise if we continue to improve on D, I dont see JDR lasting much longer here.

Still we have Jay Rodgers who Nunnelly believed was good enough to be his successor and has lived up to that expectation by developing Vickerson better then most would have imagined. Theres also his brother Jeff whose the ST coach but without Burns we dont have anyone who can replace him that well. Still I think if JDR leaves Jay is someone who like Gase has been groomed for the opportunity

I was sad to see Nolan go, but when we hired Del Rio, I was more than ecstatic. He has always been a great defensive coach, I think he will be around for a bit.

Del Rio had stated in an article he was not contacted for any head coaching positions and he was fine with that. And I hope nobody calls him for the next couple years. Stability will be huge for this team, thought I think if we pull off a SB next season he maybe gone.

Defensive head coaches are becoming less and less popular candidates. Young offensive minds are the current trend.

Del Rio's teams were fundamentally solid and completely boring. His teams don't sell tickets.

There's a reason he didn't even get interviewed after this season.
Most sacks in the league, turnovers and a bunch of defensive touchdowns. You're right what a bore fest. Hopefully we can get a bright offensive mind to run this unit next year.

I'm not saying he's the sole reason for the improvement, but I think he's definitely on a few teams radar. I would have to imagine he just sees the opportunity in Denver and his chance at a ring. Tons of teams in league are fundamentally flawed on defense. His teams are usually boring, but his players tackle well, fill gaps, play their zones, etc. He just never had a QB. QB friendly coaches are the hot choices these days, but looking at how horrible some teams defenses are (Carolina, Buffalo, Detroit,) he may get a look if we're top 5 vs the run and pass again this year.

I didnt know what defense I was watching. One of the funniest/heartbreaking things I heard about the game was from a Ravens fan who thought they would get blown out. While laughing, he said if Del Rio sent pressure at Flacco, he would've folded like a beach chair. Then he asked why in the world do we run a 3-4 scheme. When I said we don't, he tried to tell me I didn't know my team. He said he consistenly saw only 3 rushers all game. I sadly said we've been a 4-3 defense for the past couple years.
