Good roster but I doubt that Ihenacho or Caldwell will make the final 53 . I think Jim Thomas (TE) will make it. I am also thinking that T. Carter will have to hustle to beat out Aaron Hester as a CB/S.

King could certainly make it over Caldwell, but that makes our depth at WR really young, as I expect Robinson to make it as well

The Broncos keep a lot of DB's....and don't sleep on Ihenacho. He quietly made an impression on the coaching staff last season and is another developing player at 6'1"-205 that could really surprise come TC

          Projecting the 53-man roster...

          Now that draft is settled.

          QB- Peyton, Brock, Dysert.

          RB- Montee, Hillman, Moreno, McGahee.

          FB- Hester.

WR- Thomas, Decker, Welker, King, Robinson.

          TE- Tamme, Dreessen, Green.

OL- Clady, Beadles, Walton, Vazquez, Franklin, Kuper, Blake, Ramirez, Clark.

          DE- Wolfe, Ayers, Jackson, Phillips.

          DT- Knighton, Vickerson, Williams, Unrein.

          OLB- Miller, Trevathan.

          MLB- Irving, Johnson, Bradley.

          OLB- Woodyard, Trevathan.

          S- Moore, Adams, Carter, Bruton.

CB- Champ, Harris, DRC, Carter, Webster, Bolden.

          KR/PR- Holliday
          LS- Brewer
          K- Prater
          P- Colquitt

          I think that's 53.

          - Smith on PUP.
          - Painter on PS.
          - And they'll probably add a vet ala like Brooking/Leonard/Bannan in a few months.
          - Don't think any of the UDFA's make it but we'll see.

Pretty solid final roster, which makes it easier to predict

I think Julius Thomas make the 53, King makes it over Robinson, Foketi over Clark, Q. Smih over Beal. I wouldn't be surprised if McGahee is released.

The way I see it the final roster will look like this:

                QB Manning, Osweiler
                RB McGahee/Ball, Hillman, Moreno
                FB Tamme/Green
                WR Thomas, King
                WR Decker, King
                SR Welker, Holliday
                TE Dreeson, Tamme, Green
                LT Clady, Clark
                LG Beadles, Kuper
                C Walton, Blake
                RG Vasquez, Kuper
                RT Franklin, Painter

                SDE Wolfe, Jackson
                NT Vick/Pot Roast/Williams
                UT Vick/Pot Roast/Williams, Unrein
                WDE Ayers, Phillips, Beal
                SLB Miller, Phillips
                MLB Irving, Bradley, Johnson
                WLB Woodyard, Trevathan
                LCB Bailey, Webster/Carter
                FS Moore, Adams, Webster
                SS Carter/Mike Adams
                RCB Harris, DRC, Bolden
                NCB Harris

                K Prater
                P Colquitt
                RS Holliday
                LS Brewer

                Smith on Pup

Also Painter and King won't make PS so them being cut makes no sense.

I am wondering strongly about McGahee making it through camp. Not a nock on his skill, but 4 runningbacks? Him or Moreno will go. Hopefully it's not McGahee, but I think it will be. I would prefer McGahee to Moreno tho.

No way King is on the PS, he will get pinched.

Dysert is interesting, I think putting him on the PS is very dangerous. He is a talented QB, but can we carry 3 QB's on the final roster......

I hope you are correct about Duke making the squad. I like him but I look for them to let him learn on the PS until Adam's contract runs it's course this season and replace him next season with Duke Ihenacho.
People keep cutting Thomas but the people I hear from seem to thing that the coaches really are impressed with his catching ability and that his blocking is coming along pretty good. I look for this to be a breakout season for him.

There was a report in the DP at the end of the season that stated Thomas was really impressing the coaches in practice but so late in the season it was difficult working him onto the field.

There is no reason to put Dysert on the practice squad.
                            1. You can carry an emergency QB on game days without it counting against you.
                            2. He could get snatched up from the practice squad.
