Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I'm wondering what the fans consensus is here. Since the style of offense we run doesn't call for a traditional Fullback what should Denver do? The position could be a valuable weapon for the Broncos and is still kinda up in the air. Do we use Hester again? Use Tamme so we can carry an extra RB? Wildcard?
I like Hester and hope we keep him on as a fullback, but I wouldn't be surprised if Virgil Green or another tight end is used as a fullback when we need one.

Lol people been saying this about green for 3 years and its never happened. Hester or fannin will be our fullbacks
I like Hester for his value at FB, RB, and also ST. Add to that, he comes cheaper than Lance Ball. I hope we keep him but he needs to finish in the top 4 at RB to do so IMO.

Yeah I'd like for Fannin if healthy to get the roster spot. They have been keeping him around for a reason. If not I'd be open to Virgil being used as the TE/FB to get some reps.

True a much better TE but how often do we have a FB?
That's true but that's why I like fannin at FB cause he would be like a marcel Reece type plus add some massive speed on special teams. Green may be used in that role but I really like him as our future number 1 or number 2 TE
FB is in I formations which the Broncos don't use that often. Some complain about Denver's rushing attack, but the best ones have a good FB and are often in the I. Blocking is the primary responsibility of FBs & TEs, but blocking from those two positions is different. If a player is asked to block from TE, FB, Wing, H-Back positions, he must be on the field often and get lots of reps in TC and the few full contact practices during the season. Virgil Green showed great blocking as a rookie in 2011, but served a suspension last year which hampered his play. He might be able to play several spots, but now is the time to plan and prepare it. Jacob Hester could be effective, but would need to concentrate on the various blocks from the FB position.
