That is crazy. I had heard the records and divisional round and stuff before but never the years our QB was drafted with a new head coach. Thats just nuts.

Run O and pass D in the playoffs will determine a lot for the Broncos, IMO.

Playing along with trends, the Broncos have to lose a game in the last 4 or 5 games. Only a handful teams in history have not had bumps during their last few game stretch and won the SB. The Broncos' D relaxed almost giving twice their regular season average vs the Ravens. Losing a game or two in those last 5 will actually help teams going into the playoffs, I have always believed that.


Besides, 2006 Colts, 2007 Giants, 2008 Steelers, 2009 Saints, 2010 Packers, 2011 Giants and 2012 Ravens have all played the NFC East and Patriots during their regular season schedule. This year, the Broncos are the team that will be doing that.

Besides, Peyton might have the fortune to play in the only rain marred SB and possibly the first (or last) cold weather outdoor SB too???
