Chiefs aren't too much worse than the Niners and its a division rival for them.
That’s true, plus we’re playing a bunch of well rested teams – we play 2 divisional opponents (Raiders & Chiefs) after their bye in consecutive weeks, before having to play you at your place on a short week.

Seattle also had 10 days to prepare for us in Week 2, they had played the Thursday night game to open the season.

My thoughts are that there is a simple fix to this & that would be to make sure the two teams playing the thursday game are coming off a bye week.

I know it would require a bit more thought & working out the schedule & perhaps the nfl doesn't have anybody smart enough to figure it out, but i think it could make a big difference in the games being played.
Wouldn't be a bad idea but could be tough to schedule two divisional foes (thursday night is almost always a division game) on the same bye week and be able to set the rest of their schedule correctly.

Yeah but they also played the easiest schedule last year with the AFC South and NFC East

So it is OK to watch some other teams on Thursday nights, but not the Broncos?

It is an entertainment industry and every team takes their turn.

There's a formula to NFL schedules. Maybe this article will help:

I forgot NE plays Detroit this year.....oh their poor battered o-line vs that front....the only thing better would be that it was in Detroit.

It's not the first time but it's also a trend I hate.

It's something that we have done pretty much every year with Manning. Our schedule is always back loaded with road games. It seems like their trying extra hard to try and knock Manning's teams off their perch at the top of the division.

P.S. Just checked and all three seasons under Manning we have had 5 road games vs 3 home games in the second half of every one.

    So in other words, meaningless.

I do not like the fact we play 3 of the 4 first place teams we play (Cin, NE, Sea, Indy) on the road.

Besides that it sucks but look at NE schedule too. They just had two division games in 5 days and look at the rest of their schedule.

    Sun Chi
    Sun Den
    Sun Night @ Indy
    Sun Det
    Sun GB
    Sun @ SD

We are not only ones with rough schedule this year...tho I still think ours is harder because atleast SD has a legit shot to win the Div while NE has not had that pressure in years.

Least we get to play the Raiders twice

At home Sunday night, Thursday night and then a mini-bye before going to New England isn't a bad setup against three tough opponents.

i realized that as well, least a sunday game at 1 or 4 o clock you have extra couple hours to recover but guess nothing can do about it, least they are home games
