A lot of bad play and ours is arguably the worst of all of them, yikes. That didn't make me feel any better at all

Yeah as he is not the same Peyton we are used to seeing. As age and a lack of arm strength have a lot to do with it. But want to see him beat Brett Favre yards records.

Andrew Luck must be totally washed up because he doesn't look like he belongs in the NFL out there. Just throwing wild pitches at waiting defenders.

Matt Stafford is only marginally better. Arm punts it every down. This guy plays professional football?

Oh wait, their O-lines are total garbage this year. And despite each of them having elite rocket arms and superior athleticism among QBs, they are fairing worse than Manning. But let's give them the benefit of the doubt, right?

Or maybe good O-lines matter in football, even to young stud QBs?

          Nah, forget reasoning. BENCH MANNING!

Here's the choices, in no particular order:

            32. Brian Hoyer - Nice

            31. Blake Bortles - Kinda like Brock Osweiler except he's starting.

            30. Jameis Winston - Has more starting experience than Brock Osweiler

            29. Marcus Mariota - Nothing wrong with him that 5 years on the job won't cure.

            28. Josh McCown - Only thing missing on his resume is a win against the Broncos (maybe next week)

            27. Tyrod Taylor - Greatest QB in history to never have done anything - yet.

            26. Kirk Cousins - Unlike Peyton Manning, only throws interceptions when necessary to lose games.

            25. Derrick Carr - Up and comer who never throws interceptions (unless playing the Broncos).

            24. Teddy Bridgewater - Already been here this season and looked way better than - whoops, he lost.

            23. Ryan Fitzpatrick - Now there's a guy you could learn to love if he'd shave the stupid beard.

            22. Nick Foles - He just gets better and better every time he gets traded.

            21. Matthew Stafford - Great arm stength, sitting on the bench may make him even stronger.

            20. Ryan Tannehill - Already achieved potential in matrimony. With coaching change may acheive potential on the field.

            19. Colin Kaepernick - Never met a pocket he could throw from.

            18. Alex Smith - With a game manager, you can spend your energy cheering on the defense.

            17. Cam Newton - Now we're getting somewhere. A team guy that shows some emotion when he scores.

            16. Sam Bradford - If Chip Kelly thinks you're good, you must be.

            15. Jay Cutler - Lot's of connections with the Broncos. A natural fit. Yeah right. He'll give you fits.

            14. Joe Flacco - Always wins playoff games with long passes that make defenders mistime their jump on the ball.

            13. Russell Wilson - Doesn't let good running attack deflect attention from himself.

            12. Eli Manning - One Manning per decade is the maximum allowed.

            11. Andrew Luck - Has already replaced Peyton Manning once, too busy being injured and growing beard to do it twice.

            10. Andy Dalton - Peyton can't win playoff games. With Andy, uhh

            9. Matt Ryan - Denver + Ice. Sounds like a nice fit while getting a sure playoff winner.

            8. Drew Brees - Only two active players ahead of him in all time stats plus he ages well unless he's injured.

            7. Carson Palmer - Time for the Broncos to move on to a younger player.

            6. Phillip Rivers - Lots of experience playing at Mile High. Might work except for the epic fan implosion.

            4. Ben Roethlisberger - Bring him in tomorrow, put him on IR and start Brock.

            3. Tony Romo - Bring him in tomorrow, put him on IR, and start Brock.

            2. Aaron Rodgers - He is coming in, but not for 3 weeks. See how well he does against a REAL defense.

            1. Tom Brady - Down to this. If you want a cheating, self-centered prima donna that's had the luxury of playing with the same coach in the same system for his entire career, he's your man.

Take your pick. Peyton Manning or ?????????
            Good points.

I give Cam Newton a lot of crud on other forums, but it would be really neat to see him here. He's having an incredible year on an offense with nothing. He lives with a bad o-line already too, and would finally have a pair of receivers. Could be fun.

And by every relevant statistic our guy is ranked worse than two thirds of them...

heres a better question...which team on that list would trade their qb straight up for manning today

bet that list shrinks to the bears and chiefs

Let's see how many of our wanna be GMs or HCs have a legit answer for that one.

not one would IMO.... why not stay with the hot mess you have rather than change to a aged hot mess that needs his own system in place to be.... well.... still a hot mess at this point in his career.

Not down on Manning as the first Ballot HOF player he is (was) ... he earned his respect in this league, but watching him out there is painful.... he is just so weak, and immobile, and awful now its sad to watch after witnessing the brilliance in 2013....

Why is that a better question? Manning regardless of how good or bad another GM is trading for probably only 1 year, and trading away a player that is younger and potentially more years. Also, not to mention dead cap hits on QBs like Tannehill if they were to trade him away even if Miami was willing to admit their mistake and want to get rid of him and try all over in next year's draft and see if Manning can lead them to a playoff spot.
