  • Would you have taken Manning for one more year?

    a) Consider Peyton (he's done) Manning's playoff run ending in a Super Bowl victory.

    b) Consider the residual effect Manning's star power has on other players. That and the constant team-amping headlines and prime time games out the wazoo that come along with it.

and c) Hypothetically consider an entire off-season for Manning and Kubiak to work out their differences, given what we learned from the 2015 regular season.

So that, and given what we now know about the suck of Brock, I am curious: if you had a time machine, would you have given Manning a shot at defending the title for this 2016 season?

No, but that's just my personal preference. The offense has actually been slightly better than last year's, statistically, and there's virtually no difference between the QBs. From a die-hard Broncos' fan's perspective, I enjoy watching the team and discussing the team without Manning overshadowing the entire organization, even when he barely contributed anything, like last year.

Yes. His leadership on offense is sorely missed.

Yes. Manning is a football genius and a legend. I love my Broncos. I will support Peyton on the Broncos until his body couldn't handle another snap.

I choose to believe that was the case.

                  You can't be serious.

We're way better on offense this year. Not that we're good.

                  We were that bad.

The Broncos haven't had an above average QB since 2014 Regular Season Manning.

Siemian is below average, as was last year's Manning. Osweiller is/was even worse. The struggles are exacerbated by the poor offensive line and inconsistent running game. It's just who the Broncos are, they go as far as the defense takes them.

How long till the infamous Manning fan plagues this post?

Manning was an offensive genius, but he deteriorated so bad. I'm not so sure he can even throw it more than 25 yards.

Nope. Not unless he can return punts, Denver needs someone who can return punts. DRAFT RYAN SWITZER!!
