Agreed! Roby has been playing well above average for a couple seasons now. The kid has really come into his own.

I love Aqib. He's only going to be 31 next season, but I think he may be getting a little big in the wallet department. I hope I'm wrong and we find a way to keep him along and make him a part of our defense for another 3 years or so (30 isn't that old ); but with the play of Doss (killed it today), Roby and Chris Harris (as always) lately, they may look to lighten the load in this area and get rid of him.

Hard to speculate on the future, because you just never know what's going to happen; but the guy is definitely a top 3 ball-hawk; and can deliver the type of momentum changing plays that win games when it matters.

It's really awesome to be in a position where we can speculate on possibly losing an amazing talent like Talib and not feel totally crushed by it due to our strong depth at the position. A testament to the young players and the coaches that prepare them.

I don't think the shooting factors in either, but I think age/the fact that we've got a lot of talent behind him does. We'll save a decent amount of cap by him being gone next year and that more than anything will make him expendable.

but lets get to our boy Roby. He played one HECK of a game. So happy and proud to see him doing well. I can only hope we ink him long term.

This thread goes out to the young blood
Roby balled out for sure. Further more, Lorenzo Doss played amazing and had several huge plays this week! Like what I saw out of him. I'm assuming Talib walks next year and I really think Harris, Roby, Doss are going to be as good as Harris Talib Roby now.

Great teams know when to dump a player before they decline. IE: New England.....I truly see this year as Talibs last year and we roll with Roby....ps...we will draft another corner next year as well.

Roby was awesome. He's come a long way from last year when he was getting burned over and over by the Steelers receivers

Add in the Texas shooting, I'm not sure the Broncos have plans for him beyond this year, I guess we'll see.

Webster and Does have been outstanding filling in when needed as well and Simmons/parks have balled too. Secondary seems to be set for the future going forward

Roby is a beast and what's amazing is the talent and depth in the secondary.
