  • Atwater or TD for 2017?

The HOF Semifinalists have been announced, and the list actually looks kind of favorable for the two former Broncos this time around:

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-of-fame-class

Here is the complete list of semifinalists (names listed in alphabetical order):

Of course we got Mecklenburg, Lynch, and Dawkins in there as well. The last couple spots could come down to the wire next year.

Tomlinson is the only sure thing. That leaves four spots. I think TD has a good chance. But God help me if Hines Ward gets in before TD or Atwater.

I see too many options from Pitt, NY and Dal.

Some players are obvious picks...then the East Coast teams and Dallas get the rest of the votes.

Still pissed Mr B not in there
Time to build on the win and grow the team from some solid play higher level of play

As long as Ward doesn't make it in before Owens I will be happy. TD will either make it this year or next. Not to many RBs eligible next year. A lot of S this year. I hope Atwater gets in, but there are a lot of worthy ones.

Joe Jacoby was a darn good OL. Dawkins should get in as should Mecklenburg someday just don't know if that is this year. TD was HOF when healthy and Atwater to me is every bit the player Darren Woodson or Brian Dawkins was so I think he should already have been in.

                It will be
                LT
                Holt
                Bruce
                TO

Or take one of those out and add Hines

They will get cute and put the WRs in

The only sure thing I see on tha list is LT.

I would love to see TD in, finally. If they put James or any other hack that just played a long time in before him...I'll pull hair out of my head I don't have.

I remember they cant really put in 2 RBs. So LT wins this year. Atwater is our best shot.

And you know they'll definitely go with LT. Even though Terrel Davis was the league MVP, the Super Bowl MVP and has two Super Bowl rings as well as for over 2000 yards in a season but they'll still choose LT over him.

With exception to Barry Sanders nobody looked prettier running the ball then Terrel Davis dad.

I can't stand when fans of other teams discredit TD, because he only had a few great years. They completely ignore the fact that Gale Sayers is in the Hall, and Kurt Warner is on the doorstep.

There's a very good chance John Lynch will get in before Atwater does, and I would actually be ok with that. I absolutely worship the way Dawkins played the game, and no disrespect to Woodson, but IMO there's no way they should get in before Atwater. But again, I love me some BDawk. He gave us 110 every game, and the NFL would be unreal if everyone played like him. I feel almost as bad about him never getting a ring as I do for Champ.

Not sure if any of our guys get in this year.

To not have Atwater, or Davis in by now is a slap to ourge faces...

The media loves to do that to us, and for that reason alone I don't see them getting in.

Makes me wonder if we never even made it to the SB if we'd have that many finalists

We, as Bronco fans, have been repeatedly slapped in the face for decades. Randy Gradishar, "Tombstone" Jackson, et al. have been ignored year after year for decades. I don't see it changing for our present, well deserved nominees.
