  • Some cool early season stats

    Broncos have #1 rush offense

C.J. Anderson is #2 in rush yards

Broncos are #4 in rush defense

Trevor Siemian is #1 in TD passes

  • #2
I've been on the Trevor band wagon since the beginning but even he has exceeded what I thought he would do this early. This offense as a whole looks great. This team is on a path that could lead to a SB appearance. Hopefully Trevor and co can keep it up. And please give Jamaal some more carries. I'd like to see what he can do once he's in a rhythm, he looks good.

Some cool multi season stats found where Cowboys fans trash each other.

Awful game. Denver’s 19-1 at home in Weeks 1/2 since 2000. We shouldn’t have been so cocky, especially when before September 10th most of us probably marked this as one of the 4 or 5 games we’d lose this year. This should hurt less and be less of a surprise than it feels like.
19-1 over a stretch of QB's from Griese, Plummer, Cutler, Orton, Peyton, Siemian.... Can we get some early games in Denver?

The Dallas forum was funny before the game. I think I saw one cowboy fan actually give us the win, the rest predicted we would lose and Zeke would run all over us. Lol.

              Just some great posts:

"Cowboys are supposed to break Broncos, that will hold true to form this week:-)

              Cowboys-27 broncos-17
              Cole Beasley 47 yards.
Cowboys get two takeaways broncos zero.
              ☆Giddy Up Cowboys☆ "

              "Dallas 28 Denver 13

              1. 74
              2. 3 turnovers "

              "Dallas 33
              Denver 27

              Beasley 88 yards

              Dallas D = 2 takeaways
Denver D = 1 strip sack of Dak

Extra Credit = Ryan Switzer goes paint to paint on a kick-off/punt return"

              "Denver 19
              Dallas 17

              Beasley 52
              4 turnovers "

At least this one picked the right winner.

              "Cowboys - 27
              Broncos-10

              Dallas D
              Sacks: 4 - Dlaw (2), Tapper, Paea
              Int: 2 - Heath, Brown
              Bronco's 3rd Down Conversion - 30%

              Dallas O
              TD's: 3 - Zeke, Witten, Cole
              Rush - 178 yds Zeke (135)
              Pass - 303 yds"

              135 yards for Zeke! LOL.

Appreciate the enthusiasm, but it has only been 2 games and they were both at home. As impressive as we've been, it's very early.

In case you forgot, his best game last year was on the road against the Bengals early in the season. He threw for 3 TDs and 300+ yards. He also started his first game on the road and the Super Bowl loser team that had plenty of time to prepare. Admittedly, the defense really helped in that game though. I think he is the same on the road.

I get what you are saying, but some of us have seen this in him since last year and knew is was his supporting cast that was keeping him from being him. Yes, he can still improve, no one is denying that but for those who are seeing this for the first time because they've been doubters this whole time and now it is amplified it is undeniable, I can see where you are coming from. He'll have average games, we'll lose some games, some of the supporting cast will get injured, maybe even Siemian and we've seen how he throws when he is hurt but for now things are going ok. I don't think anyone is saying he is the next Brady, but I think he is due some respect by now sheesh!
