I don't know man, Siemian is the only won who has been capable of winning a game this season. I think he might have to wait until next season before he potentially sees the bench. Although I do think starting OZ could be the better idea, I doubt we can win games with him. That gives us a better shot at losing out and gaining firepower for a potential Cousins trade.

so it took 5 years to build that line. Right now we have maybe 1 decent Olineman. Maybe 2. That isn't going to be fixed through FA unless you want to do it over 3-5 years.
Above you said you "Olines are built in the draft and with years working together." I showed that good OLs can be built in other ways. Notice you also said "with years of working together". So it seems you think that drafting an OL also takes time, yet you only point out how long it took building the best OL in Broncos history.

So let's look at drafting an OL. We drafted Schofield 4 years ago. Sambraillo 3 years ago. Max Garcia 3 years ago. How's that working out for us?

The reality is, you can build a good OL in a number of ways, draft, trade and/or FA. The key, along with good coaching, is getting good OL players, not how you get them.

Total rebuild mode. Cut Talib, CHJ, DT and Anderson. Hopefully we can restructure Von's contract at some point down the road to help with the cap.

Not Von's fault, but teams are pretty much taking him out of the game and were playing a a lot for him.

Many people attribute the Rams signing two FA OLs this offseason as big reasons Goff and Gurly are playing better.

Dallas built their OL through the draft..

we have struggled every year since Elway retired without a franchise qb, other then the years we had manning

and this year is a year when there happens to be some great qbs in the draft and we gonna pick in range to actually get a potential franchise qb that will solidify this team for a decade or more

you can have a corvette body...but if you have a chevy citation motor in it ...whats the use
Yep, finding The Guy should be top priority and we must roll the dice everywhere for that, in FA and the Draft.

I would bet a lot of $ that they take a QB with their first pick. I am just saying what I would do if I were in charge.

Still have no idea why you think Siemian has a future here after he was benched for Os.
I think it's highly likely we keep TS as a backup. I don't believe he has any future as the starter in 2018 unless we really crap the bed in FA and draft.

Hmm, we've hired two "young and fresh" coordinators in recent memory. One who came off of one of the best offenses of all time. Another "leader of men". Neither has worked out terribly well and your idea is to go back to that well? Interesting but I hope they pass.

Smarter to do that than get a top tier quarterback killed behind a terrrible offensive line. As far as I can tell, there are zero sure thing, Andrew Luck type quarterbacks in this draft. Maybe they can grab a top offensive linemen and get Baker Mayfield in the second round?

Siemian got benched for Os and Lynch. Highly questionable he is named the starter again. I really can't believe you are still on his bandwagon and no idea why you don't think Kelly has any shot at all over him after the showing he put on this year..

As far a taking a RB first in the draft, I would say it's possible. We need a playmaker on offense, a RB in the first would be huge. Any young QB that we start next year is going to need a run game to rely on. Is Booker suppose to be that guy? Wasn't there talk about us trying to move up for CMac last year?

Kelly has a shot, I just don't think it will be in his first year coming off major surgery, not that unrealistic of a thought.

If we go into next offseason with Siemian, Kelly and a journeymen vet, I'd say Siemian has the best shot. Kelly is going to need a year before he is capable. If we keep TS and Lynch, Kelly won't even make the team.
