So I just too a look at the inactives vs the Eagles and we have Jordan Taylor on that list. Bennie Fowler dropped a TD throw and if memory serves also dropped another pass or two. That was just against KC. Why would this staff not send a message that sub par play won't be tolerated? IMO the best way to do that is to bench a player when they did not play the way they should have. Right now the message is Bennie don't worry play like crap and you'll keep getting playing time...

I'm shocked. JT is 6ft5 and would be a huge help in the RZ - IMO

The main knock against Taylor is that he does not contribute to social teams while Fowler does.

It's understandable to want to give Taylor the nod over Fowler due to inconsistent play but you'll need another player to take Fowler's on ST so one switch causes two potential roster moves.

We're thin in some spots so this may be part of the reason.

Taylor is tall but has done absolutely nothing this year with his opportunities to play. He has 5 catches for 41 yards and does very little on special teams. Fowler has 20 catches for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns this year plus he plays most teams and does a decent job covering kicks.

Fowler has made some plays to give him a little grace after a drop, Taylor has done nothing to show that he deserves an opportunity over another player.

Player accountability should also include giving up on plays. DT and Talib are leaders whose weak spirit and giving up on plays is hurting the locker room.

None of us having any idea what's going on in the locker room, to claim this or that is hurting the locker room is nothing but speculation you came up with at this point.

That's ridiculous. Players giving up never helps a locker room.
