In theory it makes sense to try to copy the Patriots, but in reality nobody ever will be able to replicate their success.

But, we don't need to copy the Patriots to be successful, we just need a better offense with better QB play. An offense that can overcome mistakes and come from behind if needed. Something we've been missing badly the last 3 years.
No one can replicate the Pats, but there are several other teams that are routinely in the top 10 when it comes to turnover differential. And yes, better QB play would make a world of difference. I mean, Siemian had one of his best games of the season yesterday but was still completely mediocre. If he and the O-line were merely average we'd be in the playoff picture.

I think our focus needs to be more on creating turnovers than avoiding turning the ball over

      More aggressive that way

Seems like the D has been holding on for life too much this season to be attacking the way they should be. Tough situation, but we still live and die by our D making plays

In order to replicate the pats success on offense, you would have to have Tom Brady.

I cant remember who said it, but last year some opposing coach who had just lost to us, asked why their defense isnt as good as ours. His answer..."we dont have their players".

There's no doubt Brady is the biggest reason for the Pats success. But the Pats have also won when he's missed games. There's a few things they do a little different than we do. Brady has always played behind good OLs. They also use smaller WRs and don't over pay them, generally finding them through FA or later in the draft. The exception was Randy Moss. They also put a preference on TEs and not RBs.
