Sutton will be here for the next 10 years, Thomas was gone after the season anyway. I'm not going to freak out because he was slowed down in 1 game.

We won the game. - Sanders was ultra motivated to kick his former team's Steel ones.

I'd hate to see this offense try and force the ball to a guy if it's not proper.

Honestly - DT has been invisible too since he's been in HOU besides his first few plays ........... then again tonight he's gotten open.

I believe DT probably drops one of those passes if he's in a Broncos uni. Being in another town playing for another team puts a little pressure on a player to perform and 'reprove' his worth. He's probably a bit more dialed in. -just something I that crossed my mind as I watched him play Monday night

It takes rookie receivers awhile to adjust. He just needs more time, he'll get there

I have feeling we'll look back at this thread next year and laugh, much like that Chubb thread

It would also help if case would throw an accurate ball or in fact the offense use his jump ball skills as get this... a good part of the offense

Why didn't you create a thread when Sutton had 3 catches for 78 yards while DT was held without a catch last week?

                Yep...

I don't know what people expect, how's a rookie receiver supossed to ball out every game when he's had some of the worst QB play in the league.

Also, they've slapped the training wheels on Keenum the last two games for obvious reasons. The only game this year where Keenum has had less pass attempts than the previous 2 games was the Arizona blowout, which was over by the 1st quarter.

Including a 30 yard catch on 3rd down during the final drive, which setup the game winning field goal.

                  Boy.... this thread...

I still prefer Sutton at this point given his rookie salary.

I did not mind DT in a Broncos uni but I did when his play failed to match
his salary which was 10+M/year. (Enter Sutton)

Good luck DT and nice TD catch+run to beat the Steelers in the playoffs several years

i am getting sicked of this DT drops alot of balls so he bad. or drops balls while being in denver. he has never had the greatest hands but the plays he makes normally out weighs the drops. now that his speed is dropping off a little bit and soon to be alot more. it will be more obvious. but then again the greatest example of this type of WR was TO. TO also had alot of drops, but no one remembers that cause he made alot of huge plays.

And I'm very happy for DT. He looks like he is having fun out there.

I remember many games where DT did not have much impact when he was here with CK throwing the rock. He now has Deshaun Watson throwing him the ball. Big difference. I am very grateful for DT's time here but I would not trade an up and coming young Sutton for DT and his contract at this point period. Now if we could trade quarterbacks with the Texans, that I would jump on.

Is Denver a better team without DT.. no, but that is football. Elway wanted to get Sutton more experience and they save tons of money on the Cap. Short term sacrifice for long term gain, I guess.

One, the Texans coach said that he has been doing a bad job of getting targets for DT and two Sutton has been dropping the ball a lot lately. So times a reciever is going to have to make a play on a poor thrown ball. I'm not saying that the kid can't play, I just don't know if he is a starter yet.

Worth monitoring Sutton and Chubb hitting the rookie wall. It's just one week, but we are close to that point where guys just are not used to the longer seasons. Coming from places who have been on non bowl eligible teams or early bowl games could start slowing down.
