  • I love John Elway~ greatest Denver Bronco ever!

I wanted to start a John Elway appreciation thread, for all the good things #7 has done for the Denver Broncos.
All those great years of football, 4th Quarter comebacks, scrambles, And a lot of Wins and Super Bowls!
He was a such a great QB and a pleasure to watch play the game.
    Thank you, John Elway.
    I Love #7 !!!
(We are Very Lucky to have him.)

I'll sign up, I appreciate everything he's done here as a GM. As a player that is obvious but as a GM he doesn't get near the same love lately because he can't win super bowls every year. He orchestrated one of the best teams ever in the history of the NFL and if given the proper time I have zero doubt he'll get us there again.

I will always love John Elway. Been my idol since I was old enough to understand anything about football. Which was very early living in Denver.

He is losing my patience as a GM and needs to fix the offense quick. But i still love everything he has brought to this team.

It doesn’t always have to be so black and white. We can credit him with luring manning and using that as a tool to build a super bowl champion. But also criticize him for mismanagement elsewhere that has led to the current situation.

But none of that changes his role in 3 super bowl victories and 4 other super bowl appearances.

The man is a legend in my book even if he doesn’t always retain his current role.

I think he will get things right, and get us back on the winning track again!
Thanks for replying to the thread.

I appreciate your appreciation thread. Sometimes this boards can get exhausting with constant negativity.

I listed some cons but hopefully this thread can be mostly appreciation of the good.

I am in... Broncos were in goods hands with him as a player and I think they are now with him as GM.

I think some of the people forget that when John Elway was our quarterback we were pretty much always in the game. If we were down by under seven in the fourth quarter, we pretty much knew that we could win the game in the end.
He was a great competitor and I think he brings the same qualities into his responsibilities now.

Elway rules! He'll get us back on track. Kubs will also!

Broncos have been one of the most exciting teams in the NFL for decades to watch and JE has been a big part of that. The good far outweighs the bad.

                          Thread cleaned.

For an appreciation thread let's not turn it in to an argument please.

I very much respect Elway. Anyone who makes a thread like this....

                            https://forums.denverbroncos.com/sho...ighlight=Elway

                            ...clearly respects him.

These days I have been more critical of him, and I won't delve into it given this is a positive thread. And in spite of any concerns I may have, I also believe that, "if you did it before you can it again".

                            So cmon John....do it again!
