I hope that doesn't mean Fangio wants to run an antiquated "3 yards & a cloud of dust" bore you to sleep offense either.

Some hot shot OC to dial up the focus on offense and to build a modern scheme around their to-be-named rookie QB

Apparantly he's still under contract in the personnel department so unless that changes he'll stick around there!

Yep. It's not secret Kubiak has long loved Keenum. When he pitched his offensive ideas to Fangio and Elway, they probably included a list of ways he was going to help make Keenum to future. That wouldnt go over well

This is terrible news. That's all I have to say about that.

Oh c'mon now, this is the most optimistic I've been in months! Looking to go in a more progressive offensive direction and trying to add Munchak to coach OL is the best news we've had in a while

In his press conference he stressed playbook balance, and not just run/pass balance. So, he probably wants an innovative mind, who doesn't go pass happy with a nonsense QB like we did this year.

Munchak's contract is up. Pittsburgh is starting to look like a sinking ship. Plays well in our favor.

No one needs to eat any crow... Up until today every media personality in the Denver area said he was going to be the OC because that was the plan, plans change. Don't be so smug about it...

Why not offer Munchak the OC position? Going from O line coach to O line coach seems a bit lateral?

That depends on who the OC will be.......

Its my understanding that Kubiak is still on the personal department

Whatever happened to the report that part of the reason Fangio was hired was because Fangio agreed to work with Kubiak having a say in the offense...?
The issue here is Kubiak INSISTED on Rick Dennison and Elway said no.

Allegedly, that's why Kubiak "retired" last time was because Elway wanted Dennison fired and Kubiak was too loyal to him... Fangio didn't nix this, Elway did because he rightfully doesn't want Rick Dennison here.
