Breaking: Baltimore has agreement in principle to trade former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco to the Broncos, league sources told ESPN. Trade cannot be processed until new NFL league year begins Wednesday, March 13. Teams prohibited from commenting on deal or terms surrounding it.

34 with 3 years left on his contract.... pretty large sum... I can’t imagine it will be more than a 4 or 5 round pick. I believe Schefter said as much on 104.

He’s owed 18 mil in 2019, then 20 then 24 mil.

Honestly I think I might be ok with this. If Elway isn’t truly sold on the QB’s in this draft, this is the best play. And, if the opportunity arises trade our #10 pick, gather draft capital so that when the qb’s that ARE special come out in the next couple of years we have the ammo to go get them.

Flacco isn’t great, but he is surely better than Keemun, and has shown he can perform well with the right coach and system.

Not going to get from where we are at right now to the top overnight guys, that’s just a fact. This may in fact be our best intermediate play at this time....

Bad move imo. I guess no Qb early in the draft . That means no Lock. Maybe they address a Qb in the draft next yr.
