Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I am of the belief that Keenum was signed to mentor Mayfield because they are similar.
I think in this draft they are targeting a different type of qb and need a different mentor. Someone with a stronger arm
Flacco gives Elway more flexibility in the draft the next couple years regarding QB.
Flacco comes here pretty much on a 1 year deal on a pick we got from Houston. After this year and if Flacco is bad he’s released and there’s 0 dead money. If he plays good then that’s a win win.
This reminds me of Matt Flynn/ Mike Glennon signings with the Seahawks and Bears and draft a QB the same year to groom.
Denver can stay at 10 and take BPA if it’s Lock then great roll with him and get the best QB to play. If Lock is taken along with another QB before 10 then a really good CB falls to 10 like how Chubb fell to Denver last year.
2020 is supposed to be the great draft class if QB doesn’t happen this year’s draft based on how it falls.
There's still a lot to play out, but at this point it's hard to get excited over this. This feels like Elway doing to the same thing and trying to recreate the Peyton magic with another aging, below average QB.
I doubt this changes our draft strategy much. If there's a QB we absolutely love at 10 we will still take him even with Flacco. What this prevents is us reaching for a QB that we don't necessarily love in order to have an answer for the future of the position. I think there should be really good options for Oline and LB at 10 so it's nice to have flexibility to go after those spots if we choose. I still think we take a QB in this draft but maybe we take one in the mid rounds and see if we can groom him behind Flacco.
To be honest last year I was on the Case Train as I thought that Case could be the Answer at QB I was so wrong about that after the 1st game and 2nd and 3rd and 4th when reality hit me that Case just could not throw from the pocket. Case could not hit open WR's last year to save his life. Joe can hit those WR's and Joe can Throw from the Pocket so This is a WIN WIN...
