At this point it doesn’t matter which pick we have in the first round. I wouldn’t trust Elway to use the #1 pick. He’ll keep rolling with Flacco in the imaginary “win now” delusion.

Lmaooooooooooooooooooooo. I'm truly in tears. That looks like the dumb Elway would do. He has no clue about the new nfl.
Until we get a TRUE qb we will miss the playoffs and be average at best! I'm E2DS and I approve this message!

You have got to be joking.

More like being sarcastic to a degree. I really wouldn’t put us past Elway that he would make a move like that. The guy sure loves his 2 year band aid vet QBs.

How’s your nfl front office resume compare to Elways?
He has a SB win on his.

Since that win the Patriots have won two Superbowls with a 40 year old QB, and the eagle won with a back up veteran.

The New NFL hasn’t won a SB yet, and hasn’t defeated the Patriots. Elway was the last GM to do that in the AFC.

            • Well, according to schefter, Tom Brady will go to another team next year.... I think I'd throw up Everytime he took the field if that happened.

Really? I hate the Patriots with a passion but if the best QB in NFL history suits up for the Broncos next year I would be ecstatic.

Not at 40-41 years of age. Brady is strictly a system QB. Put him Denver with our offensive line and Brady will perform like Keenum and Flacco

I haven't seen any signs of regression in his game. Brady is lucky to have consistency in the system he plays in but in no way is he a 'system QB.'

I only do this move if you release Flacco and have Brady on a two year deal. Would give Lock more time to prepare.

                      • I would welcome Brady with open arms, but there's no way the Pats let him get away. As long as New England keeps winning, Brady will be their QB.

He's selling his house, his personal trainer is selling his house, and he has a player opt-out built into his contract. AND, Adam Schefter is saying he doesn't think he'll be back in New England next year.

Brady will be on another team next year or retired.

I'll believe it when I see it, but if he is available, Elway better make a run at him. We're instant SB contenders with Brady.

He should and will...but it's going to cost him. I can't imagine he'd be able to land him for anything less than $40 million/year (give or take).

                              • Agreed that Brady makes any team an instant contender. He still represents a 2 year band aid, though. I also think the probability is very low he ends up in a Bronco uniform.
