This looks like another bad move by Elway. Hopefully, the Ravens season will be worse than ours so that we Broncos fan so that we can get a little joy from this trade.
I think they are going to restructure his deal before he gots that opportunity.

John has said he'll keep "swinging", that's the only way you can get a hit.

I don't love or hate the move, but I certainly understand it.

IMO Joe gives us a better chance of winning this coming season then Case.
Flaco won't be much, if any better as there is no O Line right now to protect him and pending Sanders health or even being a Bronco he doesn't have much to throw to. Elway might be in 'Win now mode' but the team isn't.

Elway needs to go. He is awful. I think Keenum goes back to the Vikings with Kubiak and we draft Brock. We will see. I heard a reliable source tell me that "Elway was in love with Brock and it was all but set he was our pick"...so who knows.

I am at a loss for words with Elway.

I don’t have a specific narrative. I took the one that typically shows up under just selecting passer stats on espn. The QBR did not.

If you choose to ignore it and go with QBR fine.

But then you can’t ignore the other stats I posted that state since 2012 he is either

34th Or 35th out of 36th in the league in

            TD-isn’t ratio
            First down %
            Yards per attempt.

They don’t tell the full story but are all very concerning stats.

I see this as a positive. Flacco is an 11 year vet that can read a defence and get the ball out quickly. With him there we can work on the oline and other positions of need if the FO decides the QB's in the draft are not worth what we can get at 10 at other positions.

We have a young team, a veteran is a perfect fit to run the system while a younger one is sought, and the young players gain some experience that can help an even younger QB....

Glass half full ... This isn't picking up a shiny one year wonder .... cough keenum cough.... or cough foles cough.... its an 11 year full time starting previous superbowl winning QB.

Great... Who's he's throwing the ball to?

Without help on the O line, it won’t matter who is slinging the ball.

Being from Baltimore, I love Joe. But Joe is not the same QB man. Plus he has been hurt the last 4 seasons. It doesn't make sense. I love Flacco and want it to work but strange is a polite way of describing this move.

He gets $18 million in 2019 and even if we cut Kenum its a $10million dead cap hit. We need linemen and a young QB, this move makes NO SENSE!!!
Uh, Flacco can get let go after 2019 for no cap hit. He sure as hell ain't getting anything near what he could restructure for if he hits the open market. It would be wise for him to restructure.

Also, Keenum has a $10M dead cap hit only if he is released. If trade, Keenum's dead cap hit is only a manageable $3M.

So you trust Elway to select a QB in the draft? I don't. LOL
