The team has said Lock isn’t ready, but if he was available I would go with an offense similar to the Tebow offense, heavy run with some play action, and RPO’s and as Lock progressed build off that. I would want him to have three full weeks of practice before i threw him in there.
This offense is built like that offense. We are all about running - I-back formation with or without the FB. Tebow was able to use a good running game while also being mobile enough to keep the defense honest.

Fasr forward to 2019, the only problem is - Flacco is a damn statue and can't move worth a lick. H also can't put the team on his back and AIR it out because that's not the type of quarterback he is. He NEEDS the running game to help him open up the passing game.

The opposing defenses are focusing on stopping the run and forcing average Joe to throw it. They are almost daring him.

Unfortunately, his 5.4 yards per pass play today is pretty dang telling - and isn't going to scare any defense into watching and defending the passing game.

So we'll just continue the cycle next week, and again, and again until finally Elway admits failure and benches his 'in his prime' FA quarterback acquistion.

Let me guess. Because we have Flacco?

I saw some nice throws from Flacco today, especially some back shoulder throws.

Unfortunately, what we saw today was pretty much Flaccos ceiling. Last week was his floor.

Ugh this is depressing. Just activate Lock already Elway!

Denver has bottom 10 QB play, you really can't contend with that unless you get obscenely lucky. You should know, as a Ravens fan, you guys suffered from bottom 10 QB play all through 2015, 2016, and 2017 while averaging 7 wins a season.

A better QB, or even a more mobile QB, makes this line look potentially above average rather than below.
The Ravens only had one losing season, that was 2015, Joe had his lineman roll up on him and tore his acl in November, out for the year
I would ride with the QB who outplays Brady in Foxboro,

Joe was wondering why we didn’t go for it on 4th and 5. Apparently he hasn’t been paying attention to his stats on passes going 5 yards and beyond.

Listen. Our rookie first-time offensive coordinator isn't doing a great job. But I'm sure the offensive scheme in place is to help prevent Flacco from having to air it out 40 times a game. I mean really... this offense is built to run out of the I or the offset-I with a fullback and a tailback. The way to help Flacco is to make sure they run the ball as much as possible and to not rely on his arm to win. The less Joe Flacco throws the better.

I had said in another thread that Emmanuel Sanders was laughing his butt off right about now. His new team scores 51 today and that’s just a couple points below what Denver has scored in a month. But, everything here needs to stay the same right?

Many bad draft picks, bad FA signings, poor player retention. A revolving door at QB and coaching staff. Think that covers it.

Flacco said "what do we have to lose" and he is right, we should have been more aggressive. Flacco rarely speaks out the fact he did shows how conservative the play calling must have been.

I understand nothing I say will make you change your mind. Lets just hope when Lock is Qb and all we need is 5 yards for a first down were not still running the ball so we can run clock and punt.
Do YOU want to see another QB have a shot or would you stick with Flacco if you had the power to make that choice.
