Ya know we are 0-4 but we have been lucky as we have had no injuries but now I wonder how bad we will be when when the injuries mount up. Feel bad for chubb get well soon man at least you dont have to stick around for the crash that's going to happen.

OLB Bradley Chubb on IR, out for season.

An already bad season is turning ugly in Denver.

Pass-rusher Bradley Chubb tore his ACL and is out for the season, NFL Network's James Palmer reported.

      ESPN first reported the news.

"He's got a partial tear of the ACL and will be out for the season," coach Vic Fangio later confirmed to reporters.

It's a brutal blow for the Broncos who started the season with four straight close losses.

Chubb had his best game of the season Sunday in the 26-24 defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The young pass rusher gobbled up seven tackles, one sack, three QB hits and one tackle for loss. It was his first game with a sack this season.

Chubb exited the game briefly but returned to the tilt. Monday brought the devastating news that the season is over for the 23-year-old.

"He was surprised as anyone this morning when he felt the way he did," Fangio said.

Coming off a 12-sack rookie campaign, the Broncos expected a major leap from their edge rusher, who would see beneficial blocking situations opposite Von Miller in Fangio's system.

Alas, Chubb, like the rest of the Broncos front, got off to a slow start this season. Now the Broncos will face a brutal schedule without one of the difference-makers on defense.

Things are going from bad to worse for John Elway's club.

      Depth:
SLB 55 Bradley Chubb, 52 Justin Hollins
WLB 58 Von Miller, 59 Malik Reed

So aren’t we missing our starting RT from injury?
            Our starting RCB
            Our FB
A RB specifically brought in as a receiving threat?
            A mlb

Ya hopefully they will all come back but it’s not like we haven’t had injuries

He’s on a defense that allows it

He started 9 games for us in 17, 4 sacks

I’m happy he’s ripping it up, but he wouldn’t have 9 sacks in this defense

As if this defense isn't in bad enough shape as it is. Ugh.

Yeah, super unfortunate. I'd say "I'm surprised" of something like this happening but the way this season has gone - I'm not surprised something horrible like this would happen.

I have to wonder if the amount of cut blocks he’s been taking had anything to do with this. Chubb and Miller have had linemen coming at their knees an egregious amount so far this season

Well it’s not like Fangio knew how to use him.

Sounds like he tore the same ACL as he did when he was in high school....

Hopefully, this won't inhibit his growth and potential. I know many will say "Thomas Davis tore his ACL like 5 times." But that man, was a freak.

Hoping for the best for Chubb!
