We Have Close To 100,000 Members!

I just checked the stats, and we have 99,663 members! That's a lot!! Only 337 short of the magic 100,000!

I've never noticed this stat before, but found it interesting.

I think that a combination of good threads, healthy discussion, open mindedness (usually), humour, kindness, good administration....and of course, a team that has proven to be one of The NFL's finest for many decades, all have something to do with it.

Lets keep things alive and well, and respectful, and continue to interest one another, which will undoubtedly interest others, who are ready to jump on board!!

I'll be watching this stat.....and unless someone else beats me to it, will post the fact that we reached 100k!

its just basically dead...look at smack...DEAD

GD...nothing but a new thread here or there...same discussions

this place used to be hopping, smack used to be going full blast up to FA and into the draft

I don't know why but its just nothing like it used to be

its really kinda sad...it used to be if I had spare time, I could log in and be totally involved with posting and talking about broncos, or hitting smack and spend a couple hous at a time here...now you log on and look through the forums and in ten minutes im gone


maybe losing three straight years has something to do with it...and maybe a successful season will bring it back

I know of what you speak. I miss some members, but they are likely not returning. For my part, I post too much for some people's liking. Ha ha, I find reasons to re-energize, and to keep up the pace. But you've been around for a while, and you fully understand that if a person doesn't like a thread or perhaps the person who wrote it, even though it's within the rules, then they should just look the other way, right? That's my take.

But I am surprised at this point that folks who neg me haven't figured out that "energy" boost they give!! They are a source of my motivation. I get ticked for a day or so, and then I just feel good about pumping out my stuff! Is that what is meant by strange bedfellows??!!

Seriously I do get a lot of inspiration however, from those who make the best of it, and inform or at least discuss. Sometimes it's when someone who doesn't always care for my posts makes an attempt to interact in a positive way. And plenty of folks here are just too kind to me, which admittedly gives me a lift. And with all of that, every so often someone new inevitably shows up and keeps it fun, as they see things that some of the seasoned folks may not (anymore).

In the end, I think this place is much better when folks in general try to get along, try to be open minded, and try to see past previous disagreement. Not always easy. In all honesty, I don't think there is one person here that I would give up on, if they wanted to talk. And that goes for them wanting suggestions/guidance via PMs.

I digress.

But give it what you can sir, because you are a good, long term member!:thumb:

I remember getting the right to neg then the overhaul of the whole system eliminated that, it then it took years to climb back
