It appears abundant goodness gets better and better each day for the Broncos.
But....I'm starting to wonder if the 2020 NFL season will even happen.Totally a wait and see situation.

I think this move removes any doubt (if there was any) that Elway is in full win-now mode. I think he knows it's urgent that we don't have a fourth losing season in a row.Utah Bronco Freak

If Denver doesn't pick a Tackle in the first round and either Jackson, Jones or Cleveland are there in the second, I would hope they would get one of them. A Tackle who should still be around in the second or third round who has caught my attention is Matt Peart from UConn.
Prince Tega Wanogho and Lucas Niang are interesting prospects who may slip past the third round because of coming off injuries in 2019. Getting reliable medical reports on them is the key. Isaiah Wilson from Georgia is a possibility in the second/third round, but IDK how well he projects as being able to play either side as a prospective Swing Tackle. I would've drafted a guy, but I get what JE is doing. That's another mid round pick we can trade to move up too.

I can see a mid-late rounder being put towards tackle depth, but that is a position likely saved for next offseason, I think the team wants to give Bolles and James more time.
The four other Tackles to whom you refer are Jake Rodgers, Quinn Bailey, Calvin Anderson and Ka'John Armstrong. Jake came off the bench at RT when Wilkinson got hurt against the Lions, and got his first start in the season finale against the Raiders. He looked better to me coming off the bench than he did starting. I'll give him a lot of credit for loving the game of football and being very persistent in trying to be an NFL player. During the past five seasons he has been on the practice squads of eight different teams including three times with the Steelers, so Munchak knows him well. It is possible he could be the Swing Tackle, but that would make me nervous, too.
Bailey, Anderson and Armstrong are rookie UDFAs entering their second season with Denver, so they are unknown to us. Munchak knows the most about them. It would be unrealistic to expect them to make the roster. It could happen, but it would be a pleasant surprise.
Bolles is durable and always available, but he has other issues that make him wanting. For all practical purposes James didn't play in 2019 due to injury that wasn't addressed by any surgical procedure of which I am aware. His health, durability and heart are in question. Counting on him at RT in 2020 is a risky proposition from my viewpoint, but Munchak and the trainers know the most. What Denver decides to do about the T position will be indicative of their opinion about Ja'Wuan James.
So, there is no quality depth at the Tackle position on Denver's O-Line. They could sign a free agent Tackle, but I'm inclined to doubt that will happen at this point. In order to address this issue, it is my opinion that the Broncos should draft an offensive tackle no later than the third round this year. I have previously stated what some possibilities are. Unless they are very lucky, getting an appropriate prospect to be the 2020 Swing Tackle after the third round this year seems very unlikely."Stultum est timere quod vitare non potes." ~ Publilius Syrus

Teams don’t necessarily need to spend big money on productive running backs. Elway spent big money on Ja’Wuan James - how did that work out last season?

I always thought a pro gambler bets when the advantage is in their favor, like the casinos do. Losers do big big to lose big, I'll give you that.

That is not an issue here.
IMO his desire is an issue as he has missed games in effort to get paid...maybe that is not applicable to his time in Denver...we will see.
I would also say his injuries cause concern. He has missed 10 games due to injury and injuries have prevented him from finishing the season 3 times. I can spin this up or down I suppose but regardless it is a concern.
This site says has a 55.4% to get injured in 2020 and will miss 1.3 games. I did zero research on that sites methodology really I was only interested in his injury history. Even the best researchers have error because...all humans make errors.Let's Ride!
